    So, if there was no licensing agreement then why did Ivor Arbiter, the owner of the shop where Ringo bought his first Ludwig kit, get to redesign the Beatles logo emphasizing the word Beat with the drop 'T'?

    It passes from generation to generation.
    I'm playing a Ludwig kit because I saw the guy from Brontide playing one in their "Sans Souci" session.
    Although, mine is one of those Taiwanese built Centennial Moto kits with the 24" kick, 16" / 18" floor toms, 13" rack tom that do not seem to want to stay in tune lolol

    Ringo got no monetary benefit from all the Ludwig sales.
    He could have learnt a lot from Buddy Rich, regarding endorsements…
