Great video Cameron! As a fellow pit musician, I enjoy watching videos from different shows and venues. Was there a click track in that show? Or did you just not have it your Aviom mix?
Hey man!!! Great job!!! I'm going to be doing this show at the camelot theater in oregon...starting sitz probes in 2 weeks....are you guitar one or two?? I suck at sight reading so am trying to find as much video as I can...if you aren't guitar 2, do you have any video of the guy next to you? god I'm lazy...I've had the book for a month but haven't looked at it...til now at damn near crunch time
I actually find it to be pretty comfortable, as dumb as that sounds. It's essentially like sitting like you are playing classical technique because of the shape. Sometimes I'll actually put the bottom point resting on the chair I'm sitting on if I want to lean back or something once I know what the heck I'm supposed to play.
Sounds awesome! When practising for these shows are you going off memory after listening to an audio file or are you reading a score and memorizing that? I doubt that those runs and sweeps were sight read but if so really, really impressive. Thanks in advance.
ryan l Snookes thanks! Usually for shows on broadway, as a sub you receive a recording of the show, and also the part written out to play. Some things get added along the way that might not be in the score. Since i was the usual guitar player for this whole tour I added those sweeps and runs etc. for fun because i like the shredz
@@jacksonsigmon7069 any pdfs i still have will probably not match up with the charts you will get for the show, since they amalgamated some of what I played with what Larry Hochman wrote.
Yeah! Sounds great, man! Your playing is awesome. Greetings from Mexico. 🤟🏻
So cool!

Thanks! There was actually no click in the whole show, all just watching the conductor, and listening to drums.
Wish I had seen this sooner, love your sound, but loving the bass players interpretation too. Do you know who was playing bass?
I actually don't remember. We always hired a local bass player in every city, but this was recorded when we were in Atlanta.

Cool guitar! Does that start to get annoying sitting with the V each show?

@@CameronRasmussenGtr great playing. Do you by chance have the pdf of this show? I’m playing this show in august.

@@CameronRasmussenGtr thanks for the response. I’d love to look over what you have if you don’t mind.
Is all the sweep picking in there written? Or did you improv that?
Totally improved. Never seen anything like that written for a show.
@@CameronRasmussenGtr badass dude..!!
