It’s so rare to see Royal Doulton Ladies at any type of sale. I would have loved to know what they were asking for those for ladies. There was one there that caught my eye that I know was from about 1920. Each one of them have really nice color. So I’m guessing they were priced to reflect that, but thank you for the walk-through. That was fun. I don’t usually see estate sales on UA-cam, so this was a treat.
I agree that they are often over priced at estate sales. I am always looking for vintage paper of any kind that I use in making journals. I've had some wonderful finds! Have fun!

Hi Susie, great hall... Everything is so over priced these days. I'm definitely going to check out the website I never know where any estate sales are so maybe now I will be to find some... I can remember growing up my grandfather had a set of those blue dishes, even the little coffee cups, and huge serving bowls. I thought they were so ugly but I wish I had them now. I hope you get to go back the next day maybe you will get some good deals. God bless😊

You did great sharing the shop along with us. It was fun seeing all the stuff other people collect. I have been to shops owned by estate sale companies selling the stuff they can’t get rid of.

I frequent an auction house that buys out the remaining items that did not sell. They do not remove the estate sale prices. I have bought many many things at great prices that I could never pay the prices marked. Most of the art work I have gotten from there I never paid more than $10, most were $2 or $3 each.

The sales companies usually lower the prices and put the stuff on line.

We did our parents home for estate sale years ago. I and my siblings did it. We did have a couple who would run sales to come in and give an idea on prices on some things. Anyway advertised in local paper. Towards end of the day some men came in with business card and said if we were interested would buy what was left and haul away. We did that and it wasn’t a lot of money for what was left but they hauled everything away. Which was good because house sold right away and we closed in a month. Anyway months later I swear i saw somethings in antique shops in our area.
Most go to thrift stores of the families choosing if it didn’t sell.
Those seemed like retail prices, which is what I usually find at estate sales. I get it that they want to get good prices for the individual or the family, though. I usually do best in the basement or garage.

Estate sales have become sooo expensive anymore. Average price I went to today was $8.00. And that was the junk stuff
