I met Jacques Pepin and Julia Child at a book signing sponsored by KQED in San Francisco at Winston Manor on California street in maybe 1994. Jacques Pepin was the very same in person as you see him on television. A very warm and personal person who mingled with every average person in attendance!!!! 👍
It's so special you were able to meet him! We can confirm he's wonderful both on and off camera.
Watching this man dice an onion puts me in a happy place
Thank you for your help, my mind is calm and you make me smile during very difficult times in my life
This is why Jacques is the most successful. He acknowledges his fine lifetime achievements, yet not one shred of ego or attitude. He cooks from the heart and always enjoys serving others. He’s inspired me so much with cooking. I hope he has many more years with us. I encourage anyone to learn from his books if they wish to understand proper cooking techniques and flavors.
Next to the Statue of Liberty and the city of New Orleans, Jacques is the greatest gift bestowed upon America from the French. God Bless
😂 so true!
Jacques, I am happy every single time I watch your videos.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you do.

I have never met Jacques but I still consider him a dear friend. Everyone who enjoys watching Jacques should read his autobiography 'The Apprentice'. Great fun!
I have a rustic bread recipe from the 1990s from him on pbs....just love him.
Thank you Jacques! Listening to you and cooking your food makes me very happy. There are quite a few of your recipes that I regularly make (we love eggs Jeanette ;)) cheers! 🥂

👑
Thank You for all you share. I have learned much from you. You remind me a bit like my father he was in the Service for 25 years in the Military and could do very many things Baking, cooking, Meats and I wish I had paid more attention but I was a typical teenager hanging out with friends. My dad is 87 and can still cook some but likes to socialize and go out to eat. After he retired he worked at hospitals running dietary and made not just patients but also the staff and doctors food and he loved being with people and they loved his cooking. I so enjoy watching you. You have a big heart ❤. God Bless You.
Legend of all time
Jacques it was an honor meeting you. Love watching your shows and reading your cook books.
Just to have a single bite of this man's cooking would make me absolutely happy. Love ya, Jacques! I made some clam chowder using your recipe, and it came out pretty good! It wasn't amazing because I'm not a talented cook, but thank you for what you've done and continue to do in this world!
Always nice to see you at MIAairport around holidays
Thank you. You are a breath of fresh air on social media.
I was obsessed with Jacques maybe 8 years ago? I used to watch nothing but the food network channel. I never got KQED where I lived. I discovered him on UA-cam. I’m so happy I did. Even though some of his recipes I wouldn’t definitely not eat I still love his mannerisms and the way he describes his food and life experiences. The quintessential chef right here. Love you Jack, my only wish is that I’d get to sit down for a meal with you
My first experience watching you is when I was 17 on WTBS 11 in the 80's I learned how to make bread and sourdough bread too
Love sourdough french bread, especially San Francisco style sourdough bread. It has the truly best sour taste, soft on the inside but nice and crusty on the outside!!!!!! 👍🥖
❤
GOD BLESS YOUR HEART CHEF.
GORLIC❤
