Love being so early 😊 I'm getting a rotty soon but I have a husky and two staffies so I am a little worried about this as anything can go wrong at any time. Happy with this info thank you 🎉😊😊😊
That's literally why I'm on this channel, I have a husky too. My thoughts were, get a slightly lazy (if that's the right term) breed of dog to reign the husky in, especially on walks as that's what happens when I walk my husky with my mums dog, it works a treat
@@chriswright6188 see my husky is really lazy herself until we get out and then she's crazy but I think that might be due to the staffys being lazy anyway she has followed their lead 😂 but I'm gonna get a rotty once my girl nikita (one of the staffies) pass as luna wouldn't be herself on her own and I deffo know she wouldn't plus my husky is a working dog so she will be getting on and ill need another dog to start training before I retire her. Breaks my heart when I have to do that 😩

Good video i just took my rottweiler to my parents with other family there too. They were blown away by how good she is at almost 10 months old. I swear i love her just as much as my kids and it actually scares me to be honest.
Recently i wanted to get Bella chipped Asap butt i talked to a lady that had a rottie said she had cancer and the chip was in the center of it all which i thought was mega odd. I just remembered today and googled cancer from dog chips and sure enough theres quite a bit of bad stuff so now i guess i wont be doing that.So even if getting her chipped may not hurt her i dont want to take any chances i guess. A name tag on a collar will do for now i guess. ive decided to not get her fixed to hopefully not cause any other bad things to her. Its insane how much ive learned and still need to learn. I have had all my dogs chipped since they first came out. None of them have had cancer. In fact, many of the Rottweiler organizations require permanent id (usually a chip but can be a tattoo) prior to a puppy being sold. They would not do this if there was a risk of cancer.
I suggest you set up an appointment with your vet and discuss your concerns. He/she will be able to answer your questions.
Always remember, if someone wants to take your dog, it takes a second to remove a collar and ID tags.
And good for you for delaying her spay! It is being shown to allow dogs to live longer with less hip issues, less cancer and healthier over all. And there is ongoing research to prove it.
@@1packatak ok well ill definitely look into the chip. Thank goodness the vet stopped saying it once i explained the whole situation about rottweilers getting done to early. The only downside is i have to stand by while she plays with any male just in case! Small price to pay to keep her at good health.
