excellent editing ... almost rhythmic listening to the engine sounds at the beginning of the video; own a 991.2 Carrera and it performs well; i can only imagine this exceeds all expectations ...

This engine is making more hp per cuin than the new zo6. If the 911 engine was 5.5 liter. It would be making 723 hp.
Left elbow on window 1:30. My coach at Spa-Francorchamps, said no to that. (yes the elbow can get tender)
But without a harness I think it helps keep me centered in the seat, and my steering more better.
I also learned on my early laps at the Ring, that pushing on the steering wheel is the only way, Hanging from the steering wheel is BAD.
Ring Dave: I've been chastised for that my entire 35-year career, but it works for me. Elbow is bracing on the door, not touching the glass. From one Dave to another--sorry, not sorry, but I appreciate the comments!

over 500 laps on the Ring, my only experience (and 30 on Spa. )
@@dafrasier1 I envy you all of those ring laps! I've only had about 12..
So Porsche gives us this beauty, while BMW creates the strange looking M4 CSL that is huge.

The 911 is (and still is) one of the most beautifully made cars I've ever seen so far. I also would want an LC500 (the non-hybrid version obviously) and a black M3 G80 as well as a black M4 G82, a black i4 and a black iX (and everyone else should do the same too), as well as a 911 Turbo too. (specifically the Turbo S).
Also, I cringed when he said that the GT3 was a PDK. #savethemanuals

To my eyes a car can not get any prettier than this, there are cars as pretty, other porsches ect..but it doesn't get any better than this to me.

Is this 911 GT3 RS actually based on a previous-gen 911 (991 Series - 991.2)?

I want to drive this on the Ring and see how it compares to my Porsche. (718 Boxster S, 2017: 242 laps on Ring)

Sooooo, whose this for? Amateur league racers? Autocrossing? The GT3 was already too stiff to really be a fun road car vs the 718 GT4, this would essentially be worse. I imagine its even more stupidly expensive then the normal GT3, so a bit much for a track toy. Is it mostly actual racers this will be sold to? Scratching my head on it
It's for investors. Buy now, garage then sell on Bring A Trailer in a few years for a profit.
