      If you take the 1/35 measurement multiply this by 35 - this will give you the 100% (full size) dimensions. Then simply divide by 32.
      Once you have this measurement you can just increase the dimensions by the difference: However, give the minimal difference [ at 1/35 scale 1metre is 28.571mm at 1/32 that metre is 31.25mm) so just scale up

    Thanks for this excellent video, and for the templates! Already subscribed. A quick question on the templates... the part #5 ( is shorter thatn the top (#3) and base (#4). Any special reason? or did I missed something on the video ? I am not a native speaker, so it is possible.

      Hello Luis, first of all thank you for your support and for subscribing to my channel. That means a lot to me. The parts 3 and 4 form the exterior of the template. The reason the part #5 is shorter is because is supposed to have the exact length so the foam can fit inside of the template. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other question. Thanks.

    Thank you so much, thi is very helpful cause I usually stick with a set from Meng that I had to make them with plaster and that takes a lot of time for drying. 😊 Can I ask you about hot wire cutter, where did you get it?

    • @auttorama

      I am happy that you liked it. Tomorrow I will post the episode on how to paint the barriers. Stay tuned. P.S.: I got the hot wire cutter online at Amazon. Let me know if you have any other question. Cheers!

    Hi, what colour do you use later, especially primer?

    • @auttorama
      @auttorama  Рік тому

      Acrylic paint. I used the one shot black primer from AMMO Mig. Next week I’ll share the next tutorial on how I painted the barriers. Stay tuned. Cheers!

    How can I make them into 1/87 scale because I do ho scale trains

    • @auttorama
      @auttorama  3 місяці тому

      You would have to translate the measurements of the real ones to 1/87, by converting into millimeters and then dividing by 87. Have you looked for aftermarket option, it might be easier than doing it yourself in that scale.

      Proxxon 37080 Hot Wire Cutter THERMOCUT 115/E, keep in mind that there are other brands available that will work the same. Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers!

      @themadklingon Рік тому +1

      Based on the color - I would suggest it's a Proxxon 115/E. While I don't own the hot wire cutter, I can recommend their rotary tool. Proxxon manufactures great tools.
