There is a 4 spring mechanism inside the riveted part of the counter wheel to suppress the impulses from the crank shaft and transmission box. It is better to be checked if the engine run more than 1 lakh kms. There are chances for losing its tension. Later there are chances for the formation rattling sound from it and breaking of that springs. Our chethak also experienced this issue and later needed to dismantle again.
Thanks brother. Yes I am aware of that issue and has sourced the required parts. Will explain it in detail during the assembling process. Our scooter has done only a genuine 68000km and had sealed engine. But I have decided to replace it to avoid surprises later on as you have experienced.
