Great video sir.....i have 2 questions 1)-It is pen paper test nowadays or computer 2)-The questions are system wise like that in pass medicine or are random
Many thanks for this video. I am preparing for MRCP part 1. If I go thoroughly (100% thoroughly) through PASSMEDICINE, PASTEST AND ON EXAMINATION is it necessary to go through text books such as KARLA, DAVIDSON OR OXFORD HANDBOOK to clear part 1?
Thanks for watching. The text books like Davidson/Karla are not helpful for MRCP exam. You can use them as reference for any topic you are clear about but for exam preparation its a big NO.
Its always the quality if you study with full concentration and a present mind with active study skills then 2 hours a day is enough for 2 months but if you keep yourself distrated then 5 hours for 4 months is not enough so get your mind set right get yourself consistent
You don't need to read any extra books as long as you have a good grasp at the explanation given in pass medicine. However you can use the text books as reference if you think you are deficient in any topic and for that I would suggest Davidson or Kumar and Clark.
Waslam. Yes I have completed FCPS. You can't get a consultant job based on FCPS in UK. However you can work as a speciality registrar and you can do CESAR to become a consultant here.
you can study Davidson/Kumar but i would suggest not to go that deep because MRCP pattern is such that you can pass with Pass medicine and on examination only
Sir is this possible to clear paces while u r working as a radiology pg trainee in pakistan....? Like how hard it become to crash paces when u r not doing training in medicine as PG....?
You can get a job through MTI in UK but for Ireland you have to get Irish medical council registration, the requirement for which is IELTS/OET and house job
@@thetwodocs yea, actually i mean if i have cleared OET and have the Ireland registration done, will it give an edge on the CV ? Or it needs to be MRCP Ireland ?
@@thetwodocs thanks Alot for replying. Actually it's subscription is very expensive as compared to passmed so I was wondering if only passmed can make you pass, should go for only that... Plus ofcourse time constraints
HI! MANY THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO WHICH IS VERY HELPFUL. I AM GETTING PREPARATION FOR MRCP PART 1. IF I SKIP STATISTICS TOTALLY AND SCORE VERY GOOD MARKS IN OTHER DISCIPLINE WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO CLEAR PART 1?
Hi. Yes you can skip statistics but I would suggest you to at least give one read to the section because most of the time the questions are repeated from statistics and these are easy marks
Very well explained 👍
Thank you 🙂 shah ji

Do we have to read any books along with doing the question banks? Like a lot of sites suggest Philip kalra/ maghrebi

Can i ask if only passmedicine is enough or do we hv to include onexamination and passtest as well? Thankyou.
If you have time then try to go through on examination as well. Otherwise pass medicine is sufficient if you do it thoroughly
Assalamualaikum.
You have completed Fcps in cardiology also. Is it recognized in UK? Did you pursue ST training in UK?
Waslam. Yes I have completed FCPS.

I have booked plab 1 which will be held in November 2023. Shall I go for mrcp 1 to make my CV strong?
it wont help much. get done with your PLAB first and then you can go for MRCP

Which book should be used for theory.if someones theory is not strong

Clinical skills and reflexes are very important for passing PACES. Unless you see patients on daily basis, it becomes very hard to pass
Means can we give after house job ?
yes definitely
Can you please share the syllabus content
Its basically all of passmedicine

Hi
Yes sure you can. If you are in clinical practice you can do it but it would take a bit more time, like 5-6 months
Does this clinical experience includes 1 yr of internship after mbbs?
yes
Will one year housejob be considered as one year experience for MRCP 1 ?
Sir can you make a video on MRCP ireland.
I don't have any experience of MRCP Ireland. But I can ask a friend about it
