I was thinking exactly the same. Initially I thought it allowed for more fuel, since most people seem to say that the tank capacity is too small. But clearly, this is just for looks, of which it doesn't differ much from the original. So I'm assuming it is for protection incase the bikes fall? But then again, if this bike had to fall, many other parts would have damaged before the tank could even get a scratch. So I'm lost at what really is the purpose of this, either than just... because I want and I can. 🤷🏾♂️
There are indeed some comments that have mentioned this issue. Generally speaking, the fuel tank cap will wear or loosen due to years of use, and the dust around it will also affect its tightness. You only need to keep it clean, check it, and replace it if necessary.
Wow nice one bro
Different but cool 😎
Thank you!
I'm trying to determine why. To protect the tank ? It looks the same as the factory tank. I cannot detect any visual difference.
