@RaniaIsAwesome puzzles don't make you the greatest chess player in the world. If that was the case, Ray Robson would be the best, as he's won the Puzzle Rush Championship literally every year since it started. I did see the video you're talking about and MVL is definitely impressive, but even in short time controls he's not really even close to being the best. He's not even the best in France, Alireza beats him in bullet, blitz, and classical.
there is no formal definition of an endgame in chess, but most define it as "it's long been used by players to describe what happens when very few pieces are left on the board." i would add that is reached when the center of the board has been contested and won or lost and then one or both players have lost their queens and most “minor pieces and pawns" or there is 7 or less total pieces on the board (it could move to 8 when Endgame tablebases solve 8 pieces) point being that a true Endgame should have a solve out come and can be won or lost by one player making a error.
I love the way he says “not even close”. A little lack of social etiquette but has to think like this normally to compete. There seems to be somewhat of a trade off between chess ability and social skills.
"You are stuck here until I beat you."
Love this mindset.
It's never over untill it's over.
Seems like Nemo is fond of surprises. She’s always the best at everything she comes up with and executes.
"the best" ? Bit hyperbolic there

Chess players all speak in the same manner ( tone and the pausing)
She's always cute when playing chess...❤❤❤

That's just friendly banter / trash talk. Pretty much all casual chess games are like that when the players are speaking to one another.
Or it's because the languange barier 😮

a gladna usta su gladna usta.. koliko ce jos moci da radi pitanje je. kutija cigara je 300 dinara. u frci je zestokoj.
yes, the theory is 5. Be7. If you play 5. b5 then the best follow up after Bb3 is Bc5 to stop white from playing d4, as they did in the game
'We dont have to play touch-move, of course' lmao
Even swears beautifully lol
