  • I am giving you a tour of our Montessori Inspired Toddler Garden. I have designed the space to include areas for sensory and creativity, attracting wildlife and exploring mini beasts, gross motor movement, caring for the environment and learning how food grows. Hope you like it!

Loved this video! Mia is going to grow into a smart, caring little girl! I wish I had a garden but I only have a balcony right now! We bought a window bird feeder a while ago but no birds came except for some big seagulls! 😂 I do have a few plants and a child's rocking chair on the balcony and soon I want to buy a small planter to grow a few things 😊 as I mum I really enjoy videos like this to get inspired! Xx

Aww thank you Jasmine. We are super lucky to have a lovely garden. So thankful every day. Ha ha I know what you mean about the bird feeder, we had one of those too and the birds just werent interested. haha. A balcony sounds great and especially a little place to grow things. 😊 Thanks for watching. xxx

I know this video is a bit old but to prevent mosquito larvae from growing in your water feature and to attract some other critters i would suggest a small solar powered water pump! it would just help circulate the water a little

Thanks for the tip. 👍 Yes we've actually had mosquito larvae growing in there last year. We did get frogs tho so that made us a little happier that something else could make it a home. 🤣 Xx

Love your garden so many good activities to do there!
If you are trying to attract some creatures to watch and explore there's a thing called insect hotels that you can either diy or purchase, they look really fun, I'm too scared of the bees though to bring it in just yet 😅

I just love your mud kitchen setup! Can please tell me where that blue water dispenser is from? I've been looking for one everywhere just like that and can't find it for the life of me

Hi. Thank you. It's winter now so we haven't been using it much but looking forward to getting back out there in spring. The dispenser came with the wall mounted kitchen, it's from Amazon. 😊

I love your channel, if you lived nearby I would definitely want you to be my daughter’s childminder! And a question - do you cover the mud kitchen somehow when it rains?

Hey Eliska, Aww thank you!! Thats so nice!! Where are you in the world? No I don't cover the mud kitchen, its all weatherproof pretty much and the pots and pans get some shelter being tucked away underneath on the shelves. Plus the rain helps to wash away alot of the muddiness. haha. I have to clean the sink bit and the water dispenser but thats all. 😁 Thanks for watching. K x

Ok, thanks, my husband wants to build a mud kitchen for our little girl but we were just thinking about if we had to cover it in rain etc
