Hey man, how are you doing? Thanks for checking out this video. Are you referring to the gear mesh on the red cat or the Losi truck? The rampage does not have adjustable gear mesh. Basically the way it is will always be that way, it does have four metal gears. That is probably why it sounds that way. It’s a pretty unique set up compared to other models.
@@gingerman6560 OK I know exactly what you mean that truck was not mine in this video, so I really didn’t have a chance to do an overview of it and make sure it was in great condition. I think there was something slipping with the transmission or possibly the clutch in that losi truck but I agree there was certainly a weird transmission style gear, noise coming from it.
I have a redcat rampage MT. Got aluminum where it needs to be a DDM tuned pipe and ESP 32cc zenoah. I have to install a kill switch as well as figure out steering and throttle horns and linkages. I have a High-Tec 5th scale servo that should be very good for steering and savvox throttle and brake servo. When I figure out servo horns as well as linkages I have to break in the beast on an engine that almost ripped my hand off during the test start!

LST2 definitely takes the trophy home in my humble opinion! It just seemed to grab the snow more so than any of the other trucks. Of course watching any RC wheels spin bring a large amount of satisfaction no matter where! But as I’m building that very same truck right now, that really motivated me! Thanks guys! 🖖👏👏✌️
I just finished watching FROZEN in 3D. It’s a Disney cartoon where the protagonists are trying to murder an evil snowman who was accidentally created by her own sister. The sister also turned summer into winter but together with their smaller singing snowman they save the day. I would have preferred to watch you destroy this snowman in the snow

that was the stock engine too, but there was something up with the clutch I think. Didn't sound like it was getting all that RPM down to the wheels.
