- C mine Genk is today a creative hotspot for artistic talent. In the last century, this site served for coal exploitation and industrial mining. It is a success story how C mine was transformed from the hotspot of a dying industry into a poster child for the artistic aspirations of Genk and the Limbourg Region in Belgium.
The expedition moves from the underground to a 60 m tower and back to the tunnels for a great sesory experience. The children enjoyed the visit and looking for the Cyrill the cricket. It was a highlight of our Limbourg visit.

I really enjoyed touring around with you. Such a lot of thought has gone into the design of that place. Loved the maze outside, especially the tiny gaps in it which your children can escape through. 😄

It is a great place to visit in Limbourg for all ages I think. One of our top 5 for sure.
