We have been using it pretty heavily in our clinic and lab, and what I will say is that Ultra is not a super fast printer like what Sprintray and the new Formlabs are pushing. Models etc take 1.5-2x longer than some of those printers. Nor is it the easiest to use, like Formlabs. But it has unmatched print quality. This is why labs love it. You see this when printing dies and how they fit in the model, all on x restorations without distortion of holes, etc. Even models, you often can't see any printing lines, etc. Also, the Ultra has a huge build platform, so you get around the speed a little bit by being able to print many models at once. I think it is hard to beat Asiga for print quality and results. I believe each one of those printers is strong in this current market, and each has its place. Sprintray does extremely well in chairside thanks to its overall workflow, wash and cure (nanocure is epic). Formlabs is also coming back with the 4B which is much, much faster than previous SLA. Hope that helps :)
I would love to know the print speed of this printer vs the formlabs form 4 vs sprint ray pro 2
