funny how i've gotten bashed by the pressure washing police on UA-cam because ive literally said the same thing about pre-treating or soft washing concrete...if you hit it hot enough just like you said in this video you can literally just wand it off with a heavy rinse and be done...but some folks insist it cant be done unless using the surface cleaner..not saying a surface cleaner doesn't have its place in the toolbox but its not always necessary to use if you treat it with a hot mix..good stuff man!
Pressure is pressure, it doesn't matter if it's from the Wand or the tips. What does matter is Wand marks and surface cleaner rings. I personally find it easier to run the surface cleaner however there is something to be said for Wand washing: you have minimal to no rinsing of the concrete to do after. You'll theoretically save time with the wand wash, however at the expense of more effort required to achieve the same clean overall. Time is money though, that's why I say it's personal preference.
@@ApexPressureWash yeah either way you choose to rinse away the dead organics is the washers choice, but regardless it won’t require as much time or pressure to rinse it away when you pre treat the concrete correctly as you did in this video. SH makes flat work easier and gives superior results, although I have been pondering trying the dawn in the buffer tank and testing it against pre treating my normal way. I mainly do residential and have a smaller setup than what Billy has so it kinda works out for my setup to softwash the concrete first with a hot mix and then decide to either low pressure rinse it away if it’s not bad, or if it was black I’ll just surface clean it and damn near run through it like you was lol
@Superior Power Wash & Exterior Cleaning LLC a hot mix with dwell time is the most effective. Period. Soap helps but againt a solid black driveway the SH is going to win. Hard organic stains have to be broken down not just encapsulated.
@@ApexPressureWash I agree…after many back and forth arguments with others on UA-cam I can say there are some out here who rather work harder and leave lines in the concrete rather than hitting it hot with SH…you certainly don’t have to convince me of anything as I know already lol
