It's basically Gojo getting a taste of his own medicine. He's a super genius sorcerer who uses advanced curse techniques as naturally as breathing. That's probably how he describes using curse techniques to others.
Except he's stumped when it comes to reverse curse techniques. That's where Shoko is a genius at. And that pisses him off.
Even now, at his peak Gojo can only use reverse curse on himself for Red and Self-healing. He can't use it to heal others. That's something only Shoko can do.

I know that Shibuya Incident and the future arcs are far more better and more hype than this, but something about Hidden Inventory makes me want it to be the top-tier arcs of all in JJK. The closest words I could utter as to why is because of Geto's character and role in this arc.
His downfall is one thing, but what made me like Geto and this arc overall is that he's the only one Gojo had. Geto and Shoko are his closest friends, but Geto is the one that made Gojo enjoy his youth and feel belonged, the one who made him feel like a normal person despite being alone at the top of the sorcery world. Also, this arc shows Geto's humanity, and I adore it for that fact as well as the unique interaction between the good guy and eventual bad guy.

To say I'm devastated isn't enough. Each chapter tests my willpower to fight through the misery of current JJK, and then ofc I watch the anime as they catch up and just knowing what's coming sucks. Haven't felt this empty about a series since Elfen Lied lmao. I'll see it through to the end, though.

I kinda wish the part where gojo finished off geto was not done offscreen. I love watching them, both of them are so cute & lovable. But seeing how gojo doesnt have a care in the world about anything unless it involves geto, I feel like that part should have been on screen. It'd hurt but I wanna see how both their facial expressions are at the end & what method gojo chose to kill geto. I mean it would've been something really heavy for gojo to carry after. Although I'm sad * manga spoilers * gojo died, I think he's happier dead tbh. There's nothing in this world that makes him really happy like being with geto & being the strongest can be lonely. Although, I do think gojo stans theories about how gojo might come back but lose his eyes is quite credible, I think that might just happen. It's true his head was still intact, there was the clue on going 'north', random info about his father that he passed to shoko, the lotus flower. I knew gojo had to die for the plot to move forward, thats just the problem with OP character, you either have to seal them or kill them or start introducing aliens from other planets as villains. But if he returns and loses his 6 eyes, I feel like might as well just stay dead and be with nanami & geto where he's happier tbh. In that sense, gojo's death isnt really a depressing thing. Gojo living alone, taking care of kids while his bestfriend is dead is. That being said, I just wish gege gave us MORE gojo & geto crumbs like maybe a whole arc of them with shoko 😢
