Since the last iCue update the wireless connection is trash. Every 20s I have no connection for 0.5s. Very irritating in games. Hope they fix that soon. Playing wired atm.
Having bluetooth allow me to use this mouse with my work laptop when I wfh. This is one of the features that PRO or high-end gaming mouses from Logicool, razer, pulsar and many other gaming mouses lack.
How is the scroll wheel, the main culprit with modern mice. Usually the scroll wheel is the reason I decide which mouse to buy next. I had two asus rog gladius III wireless mice, both with a faulty mouse wheel after only half a year of daily use.
for me having a bluetooth is a big plus. working from home and I have a different unit for work and gaming so I can easily use the same mouse for both of them
At this price yes it really needs bluetooth as a secondary pairing, if you need to use it on a second pc or if you take it with you and forget the dongle on home pc etc. Stop wining about this 😂
They perform ok. Just not sure how long they’ll last. I should have mentioned in the review, but a lot of my testing was on my cordura pad, which is a bit more abrasive than a standard cloth pad.
@@MathewMynett I noticed how badly they scratched, they look like the material is actually coming off the feet - thats a massive concern in such a short space.
I had a Razer Orochi once, loved it, but it was too light. I got my current Corsair about 5 years ago because I liked how it felt in my hand - heavier and solid vs the Orochi, not thin and cheap. It's survived a lot of abuse so far with global travel for about 9 months and monthly travel since then. But now I want a wireless ergo mouse to clean up my setup and I'm not sure where to go. The ASUS Keris II looks appealing as does the Razer Deathadder V3. We'll see what I get.
I mainly play FPS games too. I was almost about to order this until I saw the feet and how bad they looked after what a few days use? I have a similar mat to you mat (see what I did there?) and im concerned they will actually wear out in a month ! what a poor oversight - any ideas when they might sell the optional feet? they should put two kinds in the box at that price IMO. its getting greedy now.
That was after about two weeks use with most of it on my cordura pad, which is slightly more abrasive than cloth. I agree, they should definitely include a spare set in the box. All mice should come with a spare set, especially mice designed to be flicked around a lot.
Corsair says that mine is in transit. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but I do like CARSAIR products. My wife and I will have to forgo one dinner at McDonald's to pay for it.
Too pricey for its limited features and below the top specs of those in the same price range. I don't understand why people overlook the deficiencies of this extremely hyped up and outrageously expensive brand with statements such as "dpi is not as high as others but it's plenty enough". For god's sake look at it, the most basic design of a mouse. I get it that it may work wonderfully for some people. I just can't see any justification for the super high price.
WAY too expensive. i liked the M60 when it first came out and thought it was the best because i liked how it fit my hand and wasn't too big. it was $30. then got an M65 after that that was ok basically the same thing but with rgb and higher price. then i found the Rii M01 which was a M60 clone that used omron switches and a really good sensor (can't remember which one) but the mouse was only $10 !!! what? yeah, so i bought 2 spares and like 3 years later i'm still using the first one! but there's NO WAY i'm paying $140 for that. it prob cost them $3 to make it in china. the name corsair is mud to me now. i remember back when they first got famous by having the best memory and that's all they sold. but now days unless you buy their overpriced top of the line stuff, their memory is garbage and doesn't overclock worth a crap, if at all. I don't know why people keep supporting them when there are other companies selling a better product at substantially lower prices! when you guys buy stuff like this all it does is make other manufacturers raise their prices. in the words of Michael Jordan "STOP IT, get some help. " edit: and where's the sniper button or dpi adjustments? i thought this was a gaming/FPS mouse? wow. is this a joke or what? at that price all those accesories they say they're gonna sell for this mouse should've been included in the box.
It's Corsair's fake 2Khz again. They duplicate the data from 1Khz to make it read like 2Khz on polling rate checkers tool but the actual data every 0.5ms is missing/duplicated.
Seems like most Corsair mouses are too big now. Id say I have average length hands for a man and I find that most mouses I try are a bit longer than is comfortable.
Yeah ive ran a few of their products on my laptop without icue, generally they work fine, and if you dont care about altering the RGB you can get away with it
@@highfluntinglegionmaker-lm9bj The problem is I like my mouse around 3200dpi and when you have one without a button to cycle through the presets you have to put the software on. But its almost time for a new keyboard, so maybe I'll just switch over entirely.

Like the bluetooth option means you can connect it on the go to your laptop without having the dongle.
SO how do i change COLORS? its RGB on the mouse but pitch balck it is???? / Sweden!
About time Corsair made SOMETHING for competition fps, looks like a good shape
yeah I like the shape. dont often see mice this shape atm. im very keen. looks like a good one
Quite like that little flash of yellow on the mouse wheel very cool.
When you see if moving in the light you appreciate quite a lot of effort has gone into its design.

Does this mouse have Motion Sync?

Yeah that’s a fair point
this is another good product, cant say corsair are my number one brand, but nice to see them bounce back after that MAX keyboard recently
Thanks for telling us the size. Keep up the good work.

Really dont like the idea of it having disconnection issues how close do you need to keep it to the dongle?
I didn’t experience any disconnects. It’s always good practice to keep a wireless mouse as close to the dongle as possible.
I like that shape, always works for my hand shape
Seems like a good mouse, but a bit too big for my tastes. I'd love to see Corsair release a mini version!
Would like to see the white version.
mat would the feet that come on it put you off using it? I know they said they would sell extra ones, but not sure when that would happen

i like mine to have some weight with some mat resistsance. its what makes me so accurate
Good review Mat, its like Corsair central this week - no razer loving lately?
Thanks mate. There’s some Razer coming soon(ish)
Is this 6 pin switch?
Also still fake 2000hz polling

gotta say I agree. its such a small thing, but long term you would feel so much happier with a spare set. what would that cost them? $1 ? less even
for that price you can find a much better mouse and still have money leftover.

That micrometer you're using there Mat is way over engineered for the measurements you're taking. You could have just used a ruler lol.
It’s easier to show the measurements on video with that. I brought it especially for this video and videos going forward 😂 I can’t return it now
@@MathewMynett Fantastic Mat 🤣
I agree. Using a micrometre to measure a mouse would be an insane use of a tool. A $10 pair of digital calipers as used by Matt is the perfect tool.

its pretty much in line with the market r ight now to be honest. as shocking as that sounds.

That’s what top of the line mice usually cost and it seems like this mouse is one of them. Time will tell though.
Specially when you can buy Lamzu thorn for 100 bucks, which is 52g and ergo and has way better batterylife
Compared to the super light it's not. But the super light is premium as fuck. Basically flawless with the best shape.
I want to fingertip grip this mouse but it's forcing me to rest my palm on it.
this is my favourite mouse shape. ive big fat hands, use these mice for everything. good to see corsair building mice for fatties.

34 hours of battery life is terrible compared to the superlight or asus aim lab at 90 hours
Both of those mice have a 1000hz polling rate. 2000hz drains the battery much quicker. It’s a trade off.
Superlight starts double clicking after a few months even if the battery life is good I dont see myself buying one
