Wow…I’m sorry but how can you not love Ryan Reynolds? Have since the pizza store sitcom where I first noticed him. Watched my dad go through the same thing as his, and the last couple years of this disease are brutal. I feel like he’s describing my father. How he’s managed to remain such a genuinely good person after 25+ years in Hollywood is astounding.
Thank you ❤ it’s important that people understand that the disease is more than just shaking. Swallowing becomes difficult, hallucinations are common, requiring heavy duty antipsychotics are required 🥲
My grandfather had Parkinsons disease, i don’t know when he was diagnosed but I learned about it 4 years before he passed. Some of the things mentioned in this video I remember pretty well, hallucinations also was something I noticed from conversations, I’m glad this disease is being discussed.
I'm glad people like Ryan and Michael J. Fox and Willie are bringing attention and discussions to it, it's a horrible disease that I wish there was a cure to
My dad had it, It didnt effect his mind till suddenly it did, horrible to see him go through it. Felt helpless.

Just a point of correction. Condolences are not usually to the dead person, but to their loved ones. It's an expression of sympathy for those who have lost their loved one.

@@teresayeates3437 Definition of condolence is "sympathy with another in sorrow". How can you have sympathy for a dead person? They cannot feel or appreciate your sympathy. Might make sense if you wish to express sympathy for the suffering they endured in the process of dying. But usually, sympathy is for those left behind

I can relate because my late father had Parkinsons. It was very tough to see the disease take him. Now I have been taking of his brother in law my Uncle Tony for the past 4 yrs.
My mom 66 and has Parkinson’s she was diagnosed a few years ago they caught it early and taken medication
My husband has Parkinson’s. He was diagnosed in 2015 and so far medication is helping. It is losing someone by inches everyday.

As much as I admire his advocacy for Parkinson’s. He talked about this a year ago. Doing this interview now is giving PR damage control. Blake trying to defame and ruin (an avid advocate for domestic violence victims and kindness for over a decade) Justin Baldoni’s career after railroading him off his own film. It’s giving SUS. He and his wife should’ve kept the same advocacy level for victims of domestic violence. It rings hollow right now. Like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis siding with Danny Masterson while being chairman of the board of THORN.
This right here! So glad that others are seeing through Ryan's obvious P.R. manipulations here. Horrible that Ryan and Blake are using Ryan's late father to launder their public images. 🙄🙄

The timing here... Trying to save face by showing himself as an advocate of Parkinson's desease to cover up his and his wife's utter disregard for Domestic Violence. They're playing their little PR games, but everyone sees through them. Doing this interview won't save you image after you tried to take over a movie about domestic violence, tu turn it into a platform for your wife's ego, her flowery dresses, her alcohol products and new hair line.
