I started my quilting journey with FQS with Sewcialites during COVID and I have never looked back. I never would have the confidence and abilities I have when quilting without the skills I learned weekly from Kimberly and her tutorials. Thank you FQS!

My favorite birthday memory was when my husband and son planned and prepared a surprise 50th birthday party for me. It was wonderful! 🎉
My favorite birthday memory is a surprise party my mom gave me when I was 7 years old. The entire day I spent with my aunt while my mom got everything together. But my aunt at the time was a cake baker and I was there while she was making my cake and never thought or had any clue she was working on my birthday cake. She even took me shopping for a gift that “I thought the little girl would like”. Then they decided to take me to the birthday party with them so I could meet the little girl. They made me wear my big puffy red dress. As I walked in the pizza place I bursted into tears realizing the surprise birthday party was for me all along. Still brings tears to my eyes thinking about it and writing about it. I was so over joyed ❤️🥲
My favorite birthday memory is coming up! My daughter just told me she is pregnant and will be expecting on my birthday. Even though I know only God knows when the baby will arrive I will cherish this thought forever. I will be a first time grandmother and have already started 2 neutral quilts! So happy
Favorite birthday memory: my first born grandchild was born on my birthday!! Best Birthday gift EVER! He’s now in middle school, but he loves that he shares his b-day with Gramma! My favorite birthday memory is my 31st birthday because it was the last one that I got to celebrate with my Dad. Every year on my birthday he would call me at the time of my birth to wish me a Happy birthday. We lost him way to soon and I miss those special calls. Wishing the FQS team another successful 20 years.
My favorite birthday memory was not mine but my husband’s 40th birthday. I took him to CA and to Universal Studios. There we had dinner at Hard Rock, I told the server it was his birthday and asked what they could do. The restaurant was like 3 floor tall and our server had gone and asked everyone in the restaurant to sing happy birthday for my husband. There were about 100 people singing and he was so surprised! He is still trying to get me back for that! Congratulations and thank you for all you do!

My favorite Birthday memory was the year I gifted myself a sewing machine. Sewing has been both an expression of creativity and therapeutic. Thanks for being part of my journey and inspiring so many people.
Favorite birthday memory: It is probably my 40th. All my closest friends took me out for a day antiquing and fun shopping and we went to the church building afterward for what I thought was one even and it turned out to be a surprise birthday celebration for me!! Most of the church members were there and I felt so appreciated and loved! This was a great live with Cory and I'm glad I could watch it! Thank you for the great shop, for a great FQS team and for your generosity toward others and your customers!!
My favorite birthday memory was the day my little brother was born on my 6th birthday. He was the best present ever! ❤️

Happy 20th Birthday to Fat Quarter Shop 🥳💝 It was a fun live with Cory Yoder!! My first favorite birthday memory is my oldest daughter’s 1st birthday (she came home at 4 months) because I was beginning to think I was never going to be a mom. It took 11 years between infertility and a years of adoption trying before her adoption finally happened. Then out of the blue the next year we got a call to adopt our son. Then 6 years later we got a call to adopt my daughter’s biological sister. So every birthday since, of all 3 children have been incredible and amazing memories!!!! They are now 27, 26, and 20 💝💝💝🥰
My favorite birthday memory is having my daughter on my 27th birthday. I get to share the day with her every year.
I remember buying fabric from you the year after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, so I have been a customer a long time. I love the community you have created with designers and you tube videos. My favorite birthday memory was turning 16 and getting my license. A new sense of freedom and independence. Happy Birthday to FQS!
Corey Yoder is one of my favorite quilters! So fun to see and hear what's new in Coriander Quilts! My favorite birthday memory was my 60th birthday, celebrated in my home town and where I live now! And my 6 brothers holding me up for a picture...........It was the best! Thank you FQS for all you do! Happy Birthday!
Wow - Congratulations on 20 years to Kimberly, Kevin and team. I have been a customer for almost all of those years. Loved meeting Corey. This was a great video has I love all of her quilts, especially the A Very Coriander Christmas. I have the book, just need the fabric. My favorite birthday has to be my 25th birthday as my son was born on that day. After 6 years of ups and downs, I was blessed with my first born. Can't beat that. Thanks again to all for bringing me back into quilting and cross stitching. Again, big congratulations to all!!
My favorite birthday memory was one from my childhood. My dad grew up on a farm and at age 17 entered the Navy (we were a military family.). This meant he was extremely resourceful and could make and fix anything. He took two junk bicycles and made my twin sister and me a tandem bike. We were the envy of the neighborhood.

I had only been quilting for a year when my favorite birthday memory began. My husband surprised me and he took me to wonderful quilt store about an hour and a half away and let me choose a beautiful fat quarter bundle!! I stayed at the quilt store so long that they made me a pot of coffee! 😂😂

My favorite birthday memory, is when my family surprised me for my birthday and we had not been all together for over 5 years. It was a reunion, on my birthday!! The best time ever!!

My best birthday memory was when I was a teen - my mother would let my friends come over for a sleep over, we would stay up most of the night giggling!!! I would get an actual bakery birthday cake!!! This all happen in the early 1970s when there were no cell phone, no internet, 3 tv channels and party line telephones - my opinion this was the BEST of times!!!!

I had stopped quilting because I couldn't find a nice fabric store and ran across FQS. I am now quilting everyday. My son is happy because we don't go from store to store trying to find Lori Holt. You have the best customer service!
My favorite birthday memory is our family tradition that we go out to eat wherever the birthday person chooses - nice restaurant, fast food, even a DQ with no seating. Happy birthday to FQS, and here's wishing for many more years to come!

I could watch Corey talk about fabric and quilts all day. Looking forward to the new fabric. Birthdays weren't celebrated very much growing up for me but my mom would bake a delicious homemade cake. I also have a sister who would make a card for me almost every year.
For my 50th - we were at the beach in January over New Years and had so much fun! Happy birthday FQS - thanks for all you do and being such a great company!!

My favorite memory was when I turned 40. My coworkers posted signs all along my route to work, and my boss conspired with my husband and did a banner of my childhood pictures, and decorated my office.

I live in another continent than my family (I live in the US, my parents in Spain and my sister in England) any birthdays spent with all of them together is total luxury and pure enjoyment.

My favorite Birthday memory was my 50th when my sisters treated me to a stay at Kalaloch Lodge, Olympic National Park, Washington. So beautiful! That was 21 years ago. I’m still loving my sewing, quilting and cross stitch!
One of my favorite birthdays was 45, when my husband cooked a huge dinner, took the kids out, and all my friends came over to eat! Happy birthday, FQS!
My favorite birthday memory was not my birthday but my mother's birthday around 1958-59 when I was 7 or 8 years old. I gave her a bar of Dove soap which had a hairbrush attached to it. I will never forget how genuinely she liked my gift and how good it made me feel. It's a memory that that I happened to share
with with my daughter about 10 years ago and since then on our twice-a-year visits she makes sure that I have a fresh package of Dove for my own use. It just touches my heart. On a different note, that was a great show today, ladies! ❤

My favorite birthday memory was how special my mom made our birthdays. I was one of six kids and she always said that our birthday was OUR special day!
Great Show! I have 2 favorite birthdays :) When I turned 21, my friends took me out to celebrate. Afterwards, I was supposed to go to dinner with my family. When I got home to go to dinner, no one was there. I ran back outside to see if I could go back to the bar with my friends. My family came running out to stop me. They had been hiding and didn't hear me come home. Dinner was great. We went to Chi Chi's.
My second favorite was when I turned 50. My husband threw me a surprise party, and I was surprised! He invited all of my favorite people. It was a BLAST!

My favorite birthday party was when I turned eight years old and my grandfather brought his truck to town and took my friends and me to the farm for a watermelon feast. My best gift was a fake diamond (Woolworth Five and Dime) ring which I lost immediately when we played games. The pictures in my mind of that day make me laugh and cry. We were such good friends and that was many, many years ago. I was blessed to have wonderful grandparents.
So my favorite birthday memory is a surprise visit from my son who was standing at my front door when i answered it while i was on the phone with him telling me he wished he was able to visit!! Sneaky sneaky sneaky!!!

My favorite birthday was my 70. All kids and grandkids came. You taught me to quilt! I tell everyone about Fat Quarter Shop. I have been quilting for 5-6 years and have made about 80 quilts which have been given away.

My favorite birthday memory was getting my first chocolate chiffon cake made from scratch from my mother-in-law for my first birthday after my husband and I got married, 42 years ago! Those cakes are time consuming so I know the effort she made to make it for me. She passed away in 2020 at age 92, but she taught me and my daughter how to make them! So we are carrying on the tradition.

My favorite birthday memory was the year my husband surprised me with a weekend to Amish country (actually the area where Corey lives)-he found a babysitter for our 3 sons and coordinated with the owner of the company I worked for to have me leave early on the Friday of the surprise. I had the pleasure of meeting Corey when my local quilt shop, Fabric Obsession, had her give a trunk show/lecture - loved meeting her and seeing her quilts! I have two favorite birthday memories. The first one is going to the DMV on my 16th birthday to take my driving test and get my driver’s license. Of coarse I passed! That was many years ago. The second is in 2015 my husband and I bought our retirement home on my birthday. Thank you so much for all that you do at FQS for us quilters and cross stitchers. In addition, thank you for sharing your blessings with “Make a Wish” charity.
My favorite birthday memory is when I was given a surprise party on my 40th birthday. I was treated to a full day at the spa and when I arrived home... My house was filled with family and friends.. loved it!! ♥️♥️
My favorite birthday memory is the day I turned 16. It was a Wednesday, and they only gave behind the wheel driver tests on Wednesdays. I passed and my Mom was so surprised. I was so happy.😊

My favorite birthday year was #26. I had bought myself a very small house and was so proud of my accomplishment. I love hearing Corey’s stories of her mother and grandmothers love of quilting and how she was brought up in that environment. My mom was not interested in sewing so I never experienced this art. My grandmother sewed and crocheted but distance wise we were not close enough for me to participate in this craft with her. One thing on my wishlist of life is to find a mentor to guide me along in my sewing journey (that would be a big task for someone LOL). Happy 20th FQS. What a grand accomplishment you have become.
Yet another great show! Happy 20th ! My favorite birthday memory was for my husbands 50th birthday. We surprised him by having it several months early after a family wedding. While he was out picking up the take out for the gang we re-decorated the front yard with 50 huge foam candles. He was shocked when he returned with the food

I enjoyed seeing Corey and hearing about her career. My favorite birthday was a couple of years ago when my friends surprised me by bringing lunch, cake, etc. while I was recovering from surgery and home bound for a few weeks. My favorite birthday memory was my 9th birthday. We had just moved back to our home town after being away four years. My mom had invited a few girls from my class to my party, but I noticed she gave one of the girls (Sherry) a birthday present too. When I asked her how she knew it was Sherry's birthday. She told me how her and Sherry's mom had shared a hospital room when we were born!! The friendship Sherry and I have shared over the years was the best birthday gift ever🌻🌻🌻
Congrats on 20 years, I enjoy your tutorials and have learned a lot. Corey, you have some awesome prints. Best birthday was when my husband had a deck build for me. We have had a lot of barbeques since then. I love having people over and enjoying the day.
My favorite birthday memory was my 50th birthday. I threw myself a party. Invited all my friends, many of whom have children who are my kids' friends. They all brought dishes to share. My son put together a play list and DJed the party. My husband grilled. I got all three of my kids to take selfies with me. I felt loved and successful in all the ways that truly matter.

Favorite birthday memory was when my twins were around 13/14 and saved their money to buy me a set of pots and pans we desperately needed. Meant so much they saved and combined their money to get me something. Could have been anything it was the special thought that had all the meaning

I love the Heartfelt quilt and though I was making it for me however my boss's granddaughter was born with birth defects and only lived 6 days. I gave the quilt to him in memory of his granddaughter. I plan to make another one for me. Thanks for all you do.
My favorite birthday memory is from 4 years ago my husband and my boys bought me a brand new Juki which I had been wanting. I literally cried tears of joy! My husband can’t watch the video because it makes him sad. He says he wishes he would have been able to purchase it sooner. My boys also bought me brand new fabric and embroidery scissors as well! Such a special birthday memory, I will never forget.

Happy birthday ❤. My favorite birthday was my 25. My party had to be postponed due to a snowstorm. I am a nurse and was stuck at work for 4 day’s working every other shift. The roads were finally cleared and I was able to see my boyfriend and celebrate. 2weeks later he proposed.🥰🥰🥰🥰 Love FQS

My favorite Birthday memory was visiting my town of birth on my Birthday! I visited a museum to see my Dad’s high annual, and later drove to see the home where my grandmother lived. I’ll never forget that Birthday.
My best birthday memory was coming downstairs when I was little and getting a big birthday hug from Nana and getting bundled up in a new fleecy warm housecoat. I was so excited for the rest of the day but also so content in that moment.
Happy birthday FQS. Love Corey’s designs. As an aside I sewed for 4H as a kid but didn’t make my first quilt until 1975. My oldest was “late “ and I was going crazy waiting. My grandmother suggested we make a quilt. First for both of us. Still a UFO. I didn’t start quilting until my three sons were out of the house in 2003. So I was 54. So much more fun than making clothes.

Kind of funny but my favorite bday memory is coming this year. I started a quilt in 1987; all hand cut & pieces and never finished hand quilting. My cousin this year 2023 finished quilting the borders for me. This week I am doing the binding! My cousin would not charge me but told me to consider it an early bday gift! Love seeing Corey!

My favorite birthday memory is from this year. My husband and I had dinner with my two children to celebrate my birthday and Father's day. We all live far apart so it's a special occasion when we can all get together!
I can't come up with a favorite birthday story but my most memorable one was turning 50 a couple days after the whole world shut down for covid. I was supposed to go to NYC with my daughter but instead spent it totally alone. I did do a lot of sewing during that time :)
Corey, I'm so excited for a new festive collection!! Holliberry is my favorite line of all time & the only time I have dreamed a quilt pattern! Kimberly, thanks for having Corey on with you today! It was a really fun video & congrats on 20 years!

My favorite birthday memory was when my friend Shelley said she had always wanted to go to Rome, Italy and I said "why don't you go?" She said, I don't have anyone to go with. I said "I'll go with you". Less than 2 months later we were both in Rome and it coincided with my 40th birthday! Wonderful trip and awesome memories.
Thank you for the fabulous trunk show. All the quilts were beautiful. My favorite birthday memory is when my sister filled my bedroom and bathroom (including shower) with balloons. It took her all day while I was working to blow them up. Happy 20h FQS.
Great show. One of the reasons I love Corey's fabrics are the flowers. Sometimes it is hard to find cute small flowers. Keep up the good work, Corey and Kimberley.
