  • I have this ugly cylinder that is made out of concrete just sitting in my yard. It has been on my radar for years to get rid of this thing but I’ve never gotten around to it. Well our neighbors are having a wedding in their backyard and I’d hate for their photos to be ruined by this eyesore so I’m going to break it into smaller chunks and get rid of it.
This was surprisingly easy, just a few hard hits with a sledgehammer and it is gone!

My dad said he's got an underground stream which he found out when hitting one of these with a pickaxe luckily didn't break!😮 Looks like he was very lucky. Nice trees😊

I am a retired home remodeling carpenter. I have used my share of drills, sledge hammer, and even jack hammers over my 43 year career, and though I never had to break up a culvert like that, i was really surprised how relatively easy it was! Thanks for sharing!

Or make it a burning ring out of it...(flopping it over may be another challenge).
[FWIW, I purchased a hammer drill years ago, although Christopher didn't find the drilling any advantage, and I dont disagree with him, the first holes I tried to drill with a concrete bit were much like Chris"s. Anyone who needs to drill in bricks, stone or similar materials should consider a hammer drill $75-$150. My house foundation (1902) is about 18 inches of solid concrete....A 21 inch hammer drill bit (not name brand, can do this hole (all 18" and NO voids), in 5 mins or less depending on diameter...HINT: Start with a smaller bit first (say diameter 1/4 inch. and take a second bit to get up the the 1/2 -1" diameters. (I figure over the last 20-25 years I have drilled several 100 holes.] Chris I enjoyed your video and started with the swiffer wetjet bottle refill hack and this is the second of interest on your great list.. Similar process to refill Pepper grinder shakers. PS...I microwave my water. Havent used a stove in 20 years.]] Thanks again, great video and more to come, which I look forward to...] Getting ready to click on video number 3 now!

This was very satisfying to watch, haha. I bet it'd take you only one hit if you were to whack it from the inside tho.
