Very timely and useful for me. I've worked for 4 years to undo bad singing habits from feeling that I had to carry the weight of an entire choir. I'm getting there - but it's not comfortable for me...but...I'm improving. I'm working with a fantastic teacher and she's so encouraging, despite wanting to quit every other day or so. And we're so darn hard on ourselves. Your messages really resonate with me.
    Merry Christmas, Tricia

Merry Christmas, Julie! Thanks for your message. I am so glad you are working with a good teacher. It does take time and I am so glad you are feeling the improvements. Securing new muscle memory and undoing old habits that no longer serve us can be quite daunting. Stay the path. You are in good hands. Don't give up on you. We are hard on ourselves. I remind myself to embrace the discomfort and keep finding the joy in the journey. Big hugs to you!

@@rejoiceinyourvoice-tricial3731 can you make more professional videos on classical singing technique because I am certain there are so many who can not afford a vocal coach so you can help them because we can connect with you .you are amazing and thanks for replying me 😊

@@RahulSingh-kn5hu Are there specific classical singing topics that would be helpful to you? Many of my videos are geared toward those who sing classical repertoire...but I am happy to add some topics to my video schedule. It may be a few weeks. But, I am happy to help.

Thanks again for an inspiring talk. And I really agree with you; taking in my discomfort is o.k, it will disappear also. The only thing is to know I’m on schedule, whatever I do, and not to get stressed about having to fulfill my dreams on one hand, and not being too easy on myself on the other. My code word for it is ‘learn’. As long as I can see I can learn (get insights and practice) it’s okay. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best to you for the coming (show!) year.🧡

Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you! I agree... allowing the discomfort can also diffuse it and then I am better able to find the ease and move forward. It is a balance. And, I am with you... learning is so fun and keeps me motivated as well. Thanks for watching. All the best to you in 2022!

Sometimes I think it's pretty common for most people that are actual artists out there do the quite same as we all do we all have different characteristics in from our own struggles in our own life

I agree with you. I believe we artists are very alike in our struggles and joys. We all have a lot in common.

Dear Tricia. English is not my first language. Can you please talk little bit slowly …? I really like watching your videos but … my brain needs time to translate what you are saying
