Hi, thanks for these videos very helpful with my 2007 9-3 sport-combi. I am attempting to gain access to the TIS2WEB website as instructed and receive a "Service Unavailable - DNS failure" has the site been restricted somehow?

Hey Peter, we have a bunch of different interfaces. In the video we use the OBDLink SX, which is perfect if you only have cars with a Trionic 5, 7 or 8.
For anything else (ME9.6 - 9-3II V6) we use the Kvaser HS or Combiadapter. The later is also a very good interface for the Trionic, especially since it features BDM support (needed if you bricked the ECU during flashing). However, it is a bit hard to come by.
Pricing wise here a little overview:
- OBDLink SX - 50$
- OBDLink EX (same as SX, but faster) - 60$
- Combiadapter (BDM and ME9.6 support) - ca. 115-120$
- Kvaser HS (no BDM, but ME9.6) - +300€
Personally I would recommend the SX or EX. Not only are they cheap, but also feature "OBDWiz", which allows you to scan your and other cars for codes.
