Denmark has one thing: ports for ships from China 😆. Seems like ECUs Trionic 8 are dying around. Damn, I need to find and buy working backup ECU for myself. And definitely move ECU far from engine

Hi thank you for the video. Can you help me? When I install the driver and go to control panel to find the ports category it’s not there.
The ECU is installed on the exhaust manifold, which is filled with cold air from the intercooler. I think this plate is of little use. The only thing that makes sense is to saw ventilation holes on the engine cover. Then there will be an upward flow (convection) of air near the ECU.

Do you have any knowledge or experience with “the Swedish” tuners diesel maps? My TTiD is smokey and the air flow reading on my eSID maxes out at over 800kg/h!

man, you should let me build you a test fixture like I built myself for doing this, no wires! This is horrible to watch :(
We already have one, but we wanted to show how to do it with "at home" tools :) For our business use, we cut an old engine harness and connected everything directly to our equipment.

Hi! I've read ECU GMPT 16E Opel Vectra C Z22SE by CANFlasher v0.1.73.0 two times and the bin files are different. What do you think about it?
I send my ecu to someone to clone it with a “new” ecu, but when I got the ecu the car start to shake and sound like a tractor, and won’t rev above 3000rpm. What the problem?
Maybe they forgot to flash the MCP. Else I would check the fault codes. Hard to tell without having the car here.

Have you tried one of our heat shields? The major breaking point is not the absolute temperature, but the thermal cycling. This is comparable to the making of glas. If the glas cools down too fast, it cracks. We have a dedicated blog article about this backed by scientific research: hirschmann-koxha.de/en/blog/heat-shield-sense-or-nonsense/

I am having p0035 and p0034 at the same time. The car iss running fine except I have to jump the starter replay to start it(Turn key to start won't crank). Is this something the fix service can do?

What if just using washers to raise the ecu up to create a space of air under it then cover the ecu in heat shielding paint?
The paint could work actually, however, the best is to put something in between the ECU and manifold in order to contain the uprising heat. Also keep in mind that washers alone will not mechanically decouple the ECU, which means that vibrations can cause damage.
@@hirschmannkoxha ah I see. But isn't it better to allow air underneath especially with fan modifications? Then I'm thinking rubber washers could be used

It is the so called T8Suite, completely free and open source!
What does the high output change?
That's only important for the B207E and B207L engines. High output is for 175HP basically, but is also ticked on some files for the Aero (210HP), which depends on the basefile itself.

I installed exactly as shown. I went to start the car and it started and ran for about 1 minutes then died.
Are you sure that the ground strap is properly installed? In case you disconnected your battery terminals during installation check them as well.
@@hirschmannkoxha I double checked the ground and it looks appropriately fastened. Tried leaving the battery off for 10 minutes and still getting the error.
Okay I drove it around for a bit and it turned off! Maybe it needed to recalibrate or something? Who knows. Everything operating smoothly.
That's very weird, if it is a ground issue you will see a message in the SID saying that there is a TCS fault. If you see that or run into any issue just send us a message via our contact form and we will get back to you!

I just ordered this service for my ECU for my 07 9-3 2.0t. How did the reinstall go with your unit?
@hansherrmann8478 Install was actually not too bad, Hirschmann&koxha has a video to guide you on removal and installation. Things to keep in mind are that depending on how the factory positioned your throttle body clamp, it may need to be relocated lower so the ECU bracket will sit flush. Also, you want to be careful over tightening the new hardware that attaches the heat shield because you won't get it back off, or at least it will be a major pain. My car always had some minor issues, but be careful around the throttle body because one of the bolts attaches there, and you don't want to open it up and disturb the gasket and risk weird idling or throttling issues.

why i dont get the .exe file from the driver?? i just get a bunch a .dll and others...
Check the very right column on the FTDI website. "setup executable" thats what you want.
I would like to see another option to move it. I come from the telco world, and sometimes we have to move a system. I would like to see an amp plug on a cable( I have seen this brand/style on Saabs and in the telco world) , female end to plug to each ECU A and B connectors, and extension cable with tail with correct end to remount it. You could even leave your backup ECU in place.

The kit is produced in house. No external contractors are used for the manufacturing process. Even the ground straps are cut and press fitted by us.

In was able to install two of these without needing to disconnect the ecu harnesses. There is plenty of room to maneuver it out of the way to slip the shield in under it.
A little update - the 6 nuts are now obsolete. You are supposed to only use the thread extensions from now on. The kit now also contains an extended bolt for the ground strap.

I wonder if ecumaster DET3 would help with trionic 8 problems or if it has to be standalone ecu like emu classic which is slightly more expensive than used confirmed good ecu with guarantee which can develop same problems later on

Hello j go t this one heat spacer kit and i really feel like my car lost power nothing bad it just dosent feel as fast buh dont get me wrong it still goes
That's very odd and definitely something we haven't experienced before. Can you try to clean the ground area with sand paper? What I could imagine is that a dirty ground could interfere with the signal processing. Alternatively remove the heatshield and test if the issue persists. If yes, then it can not be related to the kit. In case you purchased the kit from us, do not hesitate to send us a message and we will look into it together!

will this work on an ECU thats already failing sometimes or do i need to buy a used one thats not having any issues
If its already failing, its already too late. eSAAB Parts in the US can help you swap yours and they can flash it with your correct info.
