Perspective, my friend. Every medicine or drug has an extremely adverse effect to somebody. That is why all drugs and medicines come with a warning and disclaimer saying it may be useless or can cause an adverse effect so as soon as they notice to stop using it and go to your doctor immediately.
This include vaccines. All vaccines are not 100% effective or safe, nothing is. The most impportant thing to know is that it passed the standard vaccine development protocols that concludes the damage it MIGHT cause to somebody is negligible to the benefit it will do to the overwhelmingly majority. If you want a 100% effective and safe drug or vaccine, we will never have drugs or vaccines at all.

Every medicine has a pro and cons.
Example two sick person with the same disease can be have different medication. Depending on the medical situation of the patients.
But you can't say that all medicine has adverse effect to all patients. It's only compatible to those patients that is not compatible to that medicine.
There should be no adverse effect that could kill the patient.
If there is a side effect it should be mild and non-lethal.

I have contacted GBS and no cure for it. I survive, thanks to the young lady doctor who analized correctly that it was GBS. Others doctors thought that I was just lacking potassium, so they advised that I be given two vials of that drug, on the onset I feel not better with that drug, so I requested the attending nurse to disconnect the tube. I signed the waiver for that disconnection and thanks God I got no overdose for potassium. In GBS it's your own will and blessing of God to survive. I am 74 and it's been 18 years since that 50/50 chance... demise or survive. I don't know if there is medicine for GBS these days.
