- Flight 34 from Seattle to Paris-Charles De Gaulle
Taken from Seat 5A (Delta One)
Aircraft N826NW
May 24, 2017
This was the first flight of 7 on my trip to Portugal. Flight was great, inflight crew was amazing! This was the first time using a mount to hold the camera because of the Delta One seat that is angled and makes it impossible to hold the camera to the window. I think it worked pretty well. Sorry about the window frame visible in the video but it was the only way to get the engine in the shot.

When I can't enjoy a flight... I'll enjoy someone else's! Thanks great video.
Subbed.
I will always have fond memories of flying Delta One on the A333, phenomenal flight.
The sun is out in Paris - amazing! An historic first!
what a long direct flight from the Space Needle to the Eiffel Tower goes hand and hand. Cheers
From one of the most beautiful spots on earth to another. Loved Paris need to check out Seattle sometime.
Well, I'm French and I flew this route several times: Seattle is truly a wonderful place on earth, and the stunning surroundings!!
Yep sorta use your same settup. It works flawlessly. I always suction cup my GoPro to the window and the quality is amazing.
Very nice video. Watched this video multiple times, still loving it!
Nice flight
Thank you!
No problem
Love the engine view
"After THAT landing" LOL
Superbe video merci man 👍🏽
Great video! Loved the lighting on app! :D
Thank you! Yes it was a nice morning to arrive in CDG!
Love this so much.
awesome Video. really enjoyed it!
Very nice flight
Thanks 👍
The taxi in CDG is another journey. WOW
i AM FROM RECIFE BRAZIL
Tout simplement que de Bons
Souvenirs.
The video seems amazing!!! Since I can't travel this year I binge watch travel videos whenever I get chance. Good job!! Just wanted to know why the camera is facing the opposite direction??
Ótimo Vídeo Parabéns
Jaweria Api
Honestly speaking I have never seen airport crew is waiting to cross the active taxi way like in this video. Looks like French really understands the true meaning of “sharing is caring”.
i love those GE CF6 80E1A1 roars
Delta don't use CF6 for their A330 though. They use PW.
This has to be one of the longest flights on an A333, and even longer heading westbound. Probably had to use TOGA (full) power on takeoff.
ecoRfan depends on weather and how many pax I guess, if it’s tailwind might save some fuel as well
SEA to CDG is 4360 nmi
El_Ectric longest A333 flight is Shenzhen to London, at about 5200 nmi
@@ecoRfan This was nowhere near toga
@@pilerks1 i agree
At least the beginning was--after some time it switched to a SEA departure
Ótimo Avião Belíssimo Vídeo

I can't fly to Europe right now so thanks for taking the time to do this :)
You're welcome!
This was a wonderful video! I've taken a flight from ATL to CDG on Delta's A330-300- but in comfort+. How was Delta One?
Delta One was definitely worth the money. Being able to lay down was very relaxing for the long flight. Also, the meals and snacks were definitely top notch. I do like that Delta does not roll carts down the aisles in Delta One other than the occasional beverage and snack carts. The meals were delivered individually from the galley.
Really? Sweet! I'd love to see some more videos like this- you've earned my sub!
Thanks for subscribing! There will be more videos from this trip coming soon! Flew KLM's 787-9 on the way back and will be working on getting that video up shortly!
Alright, cool! I've got tons of footage kind of stockpiled... Can't edit it fast enough!
Buzzsaw up to 19:30 diminishing around 20:00
B767 and A330, to me, only with PW engines.
I think you should do start up. But this is still good
Tys for vid
Would've been nice to see some of the INSIDE of the plane.
Have you ever thought about using an app that shows location, speed, height etc. while flying. Would make it more interesting.
You need satellite data for that
Awesome video! How long was the flight?
Thanks! Gate to gate was 10 hours 12 minutes.
Great time from USA west coast to France
Great Video. What time did you depart and arrive?
We departed SEA at 1:24p and arrive in CDG at 8:36a.
What is the mass of water in the background after take off ?
Puget Sound
One hour and two minutes? What are you flying the SR-71?!😉
It's a bit off-topic but the "de" in "de Gaulle" is written with the lower-case "d" ("de" is not a part of last name).
It's off-topic.
It's gotta be impossible to fly this trip and avoid nighttime altogether. Was the footing significantly edited?
"After that landing" hey , Pilots get tired too,,,,that was a long flight, lady give the guy or gal a break!
Hard landing 😉
Slats deployed during a banking turn - interesting.
Whats wrong with that
This is a really dumb question, as I've been around the block a few times (I'm 61), but I've never thought about it til now: I understand why the engines aren't started until after pushback in these larger engines, but is it the same in smaller, regional jets, like the MD80 series?
Some airlines used to start the DC-9/MD-80 engines at the gate and would reverse the aircraft from the gate without having to use a tug. But that costs fuel and not sure how often that is done nowadays. As for regional jets, most are pushed back and then start their engines. Exceptions are if they have to use an air cart to start one of the engines before pushing back due to an issue with the APU.
SIH Aviation ok thanks. Makes sense!
There is a much higher chance of ingesting garbage - and people - close in. I used to fly on TWA L-1011s a lot. When those RR engines would start, an enormous cloud of oil smoke would be generated. It was always comical to see everyone panic.
first class right?
Yes. It was the Delta One international service.

how come you have only 3k subscribers.
CF6 Roar!
What do you speak other than English
Did I hear right? Only a complimentary snack and drink at mid-flight and one towards the end of the flight.... no meal on a 10 hr flight? Really?
funny FA
This is CDG-SEA rather than SEA-CDG
This video is Seattle to Paris. I didn't fly CDG-SEA
Plus as alaskan airlines doesn't have a maintenance hanger @ CDG
Joseph Pritt did you even watch the video? The Alaska Airlines hangar was at SEA
i was about to write that lol
Upon landing the announcement was welcome to Paris, why bother!!!
Do you speak French
No I don’t
