The point the MP made against the bill since the electorate voted for Brexit even understanding that it could occur without a deal is questionable. How well could that have been understood by the electorate? And what about now, in light of the Yellowhammer report? He's very conveniently ignoring that the current majority sentiment is to avoid a no-deal Brexit.

A no-deal Brexit should never have even been on the table. Yet the unwinding of their involvement in the EU is so daunting and encumbered by competing interests that a negotiated exit seems greater than their collective will to achieve on any reasonable schedule.

The thing with Brexit is that, it is like being part of a party from various groups for decades then deciding you want to leave the party forever...but still want to enjoy the invitation, booze, snacks and gifts (I.e. a deal). Not only does this move scream desperation, it is literally like wanting your cake and eating it too.
From a commercial perspective, leaving without a deal means going out on your own and establishing new deals, no longer dependent on the EU. Isn't that the whole bloody point of brexit? You can't say you want to leave the EU but still want the perks and benefits of being part of it.... Why on earth would they give you anything when you broke up with them? 😆🤨
