It sucks that McGee later confessed to being ferarful of someone killing The Hupk before the truth could be revealed and not really giving a damn about his well being at all, especially since he was saved by the creature several times, David had it right when he knew from day one that he'd only be just a story to Jack McGee.
When the series started McGee said that the Hulk is wanted for murder and is very dangerous but saves the Hulk from being shot by the police in this episode, I don't understand that.
@@thenextbigthing7692 i think its because initially Mcgee thought the hulk was just some sort of monster but nothing else... Mcgee didn't know at first the hulk was a human.. Its later in the series that he discoveres that the creature is a human man that transforms into the creature... So now at this point he knew he was saving a man... I think that could be why he did that.. Also... it is possible Jack knew if they shot the creature it could and probably would turn on them... That's the other possibility.. He may have just been knowingly saving everyone.. He is very familiar with the hulk's temperament at this point in the series.. Just guessing though.. Also... Mcgee wasn't trying to catch the hulk for say as much as trying to catch the man that becomes the hulk at this point in the series... He may have been wanting to wait for the hulk to morph back into his human form (don't forget Mcgee doesn't know the hulk is David Banner) and i think Mcgee was mad curious to see the hulk change back and find out who the hulk is... so i think Mcgee knew if they shot the hulk he wouldn't stand a chance finding out who the hulk is...

Mr. McGee probably would have tried to shoot the hulk on site. Remember, McGee was always armed. But I think I understand why he didn't want the police to kill him.
Been waiting for a new Hulk clip. My mom told me she got to see this series as a kid and she told me that she always felt sad when Hulk would always be alone.
It would've been interesting to see those policemen being interviewed by a lot of reporters about their encounter with the Hulk and that he got away from them after Jack McGee stopped a policeman from shooting the creature because McGee wants the Hulk taken alive after finding out how he goes from place to place.
It is amazing how Newspaper guy Can afford to follow David banner around He never gets any pictures of the Hulk No real evidence Yet they keep paying him I have never seen him write any stories at all for the paper
Poor Dr. David Banner, always having to use a last name "B" alias everywhere he traveled to. And that damn Mr. McGee would NOT leave him alone at all. He absolutely refused to quit pursuing him and the hulk wherever they went. Whewwwwwww🙄
He dies in the end falling from a small plane,I think they should have ended it him running off with the woman's falls for. But that's how they wanted it. For anyone that doesn't know it's one of the three specials they did a few years after the series..
@@paulanthony5274 Kenneth Johnson said the intention always was that the series was supposed to end with David eventually finding a cure, but it got axed by the network before they had a chance to produce the episode. Also, Death of The Incredible Hulk wasn't supposed to be the last film either, David was supposed to survive that fall, he was technically still alive via Hulk's gamma signature. Tony Stark was supposed to intervene with the Coronas at the air strip and take him back to his HQ and use his technology to revive him. The two would then form a friendship and put their brilliant minds together to come up with the cure. The only reason they left it on the note of it appearing that David died, was because unfortunately Bill was terminally ill and they didn't know if he was going to be around to make the follow up. So the way they ended it was quite clever, it was kind of a hedge/cliffhanger that could be a finale if they decided not to follow up on it. Sadly, Bill did pass away not long after making that last film, so we never got to see the final we were supposed to. In a way, I actually think it was more fitting that he died. David had lost too much on his journey for the cure to mean anything by the end anyway, it had ruined pretty much most of his younger life.

This Hulk is from Earth 400005 which means Marvel could make a The Incredible Hulk Multiverse film with this Hulk. 2003 Hulk and MCU come together. But unfortunately Bill Bixby is dead so it will never happen. But if he still lived they could’ve done it.

Jack McGee could've gone over the head of that plainclothes policemen who ignored McGee's plea not to kill the Hulk and tell his superior that McGee wanted the Hulk taken alive so that he can try to find out his true identity later on when the creature is calm enough to change back into a man again. But that plainclothes policeman didn't care one bit.
Jack McGee was lucky that the police didn't arrest him when he prevented the Hulk from being shot & killed because they didn't want to take him alive and know the truth about him. McGee could've gone over the head of the cop who stopped him from going aboard the yacht and finding out the Hulk's true identity before tear gas was used, which made David angry and change into the creature once again, defy the police and then get away from them by swimming in the water.
David should had never let Mr McGee see him, as he falls down into the boat and turns into the incredible hulk, geroge Jefferson Saw him and the 🚓 police officers did try to kill the hulk but Mr McGee saved him thank goodness.
