You will be graced by probably my 5th comment on a UA-cam video in my entire life lol. I stumbled upon this video in preparation for a surprise. A surprise I knew I needed to do but didn’t know where to start. After listening and downloading this off of sheet music I planned the surprise of a lifetime to perform this piece in front of my new bride on our wedding day!! The idea came into my head in June and my future (now official) brother in law planned our surprise. With a few extra helping hands we pulled off the surprise to not only my wife but our families and friends of nearly 200 people. I myself am a middle band director and continue to play all the time in front of my kids. However, a good portion of my extended family had never heard me play before.
Needless to say it went off without a hitch and everyone including the younglings instantly recognized the tune and enjoyed every second of it!!!!
Thank you so much for being apart of my special day this past Saturday December 30th, 2023!!!
My wife could not wait to bear hug me after the performance.
