8.4 rating in Agoda with over 11,700 reviews is good, in my opinion. For comparison, Dusit Thani, a 5-star resort in Mactan, has a rating of 8.3 with 4,800 reviews. Crimson Resort, another 5-star, has a rating of 8.6 with 7,700 reviews. Those resorts can easily have more than twice the rate of Bluewaters. Solea Resort, a 4-star resort also in Mactan, has a rating of 8.3 and 8,300 reviews. Because of its price range, this is IMO Bluewater's direct competitor. I have also stayed here before, but I liked Bluewater more for the facilities and location.
@@TourFromHomeTV bro for agoda, anything under 8.8 is technically bad for a 4-5 star hotel. if you half the 8.2, thats like 4.1 / 5 on google and thats terrible
I respectfully disagree. I’ve stayed in several 4 to 5-star hotels, both locally and abroad, that had ratings under 8.8, and I often had a wonderful experience. It was certainly not "technically bad". However, everyone has their preferences. If you choose to only book hotels with ratings of 8.9 or higher, that works well for you.

Stayed there about 12yrs ago. Loved it. Didn't spend much time at the hotel we spent most time sightseeing in cebu city ❤❤
