But I think its not ok because being homeless a very difficult situation here, also you need to have a fixed address in a lot of cases such as opening bank account or getting drivers license etc... room share is your best option for lower rent..choose 30kms suburb away from city for lower rent. On the other hand, your salary depends on what skill and industry you work for. On the other hand, your salary depends on what skill and industry you work for. If you have a full time employement with 38hrs per week and a salary of 29AUD per hour, you may be able to start from that. Cheers!

It depends on which state or teritory you would live..cheapest is at the regional locations..maybe less than 100 per week in some area. But if close to the capital city or CBD, its way higher about 3X or more per week. Most expensive in sydney and melbourne so far..

Hi Tol! Visa SC 189 means skilled immigrant, it not like employer sponsored visa that you actually have work upon arrival. SC 189 means we are skilled permanent resident migrants, hence no job is offered and we have to look for a job by ourselves. Eventually working into our own fields sooner or later. Cheers!

additional expenses includes assessment of your qualification (in my field it is Engineers Australia), medical exams at yung pocket money to start up, while looking for a job is youre on PR visa
