I have known my purpose since I was a teenager. It started out small as a “teacher/helper,” but changed over the years and has become more encompassing. It morphed from teaching to being an advocate for people in need. It became a force of organizing programs for the community such as parenting classes, assisting people in addiction, feeding the poor, standing up for teenagers in my community. Now I am 74 and the purpose has morphed in a new direction. I moved from the US to Ecuador and I volunteered in a soup kitchen for Venezuelan refugees. Now I am helping abandoned dogs in my neighborhood. So my purpose has always been to “help” but changed as my situation changed. I have always had a strong connection to helping people, animals, my community. Giving my talents and abilities wherever the need arises. And it changes direction,
It's really just that simple isn't it? I've had all kinds of complex scenarios in my head for so long, but that's all ego. The last line in her talk brought it all together. I have the weirdest blind spots. Lol.
Some people spend their whole life not finding their life purpose. Some finally find it, but never live it. Some find it early on and live their whole life in harmony with their LP. I’m still searching and I’m 57. I’ve had 4 or 5 careers already and none of them stuck and just paid the mortgage etc. so here I am learning from Sarah . I once read that the seeking of truth alone can raise raise our vibration. Perhaps I will always be a seeker. I have so many interests- I’m a jack of all trades and master of none. I love to dabble. In order to find your life purpose it is vital to tune inwards to your body’s reaction to different activities you try - when you do something which truly aligns with your purpose you will feel a sense of energy, joy, and excitement. This feeling is something I get every time I create a new piece of music, after observing that process occur so many times I knew my deepest purpose was to create songs that aim to inspire and provide positive frequencies to the people. YES. I spent years in study, meditation, yoga, etc before I came across a teacher (Michael Singer) who insisted the key to grace is in relaxing the body IN THE MOMENT you feel agitated, nervous, angered, etc. As soon as I began doing this exercise (deliberately finding the tension in my body and letting it go) rather than allow the thought to dominate, I was able to discern that there is an unceasing positive force behind everything. It is not a matter of accessing it as much as it is about removing the obstacles and that is as simple as RELAXING. All the artists I know and admire - regardless of their beliefs - describe the creative process exactly as you have in all kinds of ways.
Purpose had me hung up for so long. The further I go I realize centering everything, honoring everything, healing everything and connecting to the everything is truly what it's all about and yet so much more.... Flowing with passions for growth and loving and healing is where I am at... like it keeps expanding our existence is the purpose here for the unification and expansion etc... the Rest is icing on the cake. Realized I want to be happy and do well so I'll do that too. From inside and out... thanks
Purpose has messed w me......or the idea of not fulfilling my purpose but since this purpose has eluded me I've decided that my purpose is to heal and love myself and help spread healing, love, etc in anyway I'm able and if I'm to have more purpose then I guess it will be revealed at a later time lol.....I'm a work in progress yet but I will keep at this....I really love what you said in this comment....thank you!

The idea that one should choose a life long carreer at high school is so detrimental to this beautiful enriching soul journey. Still, at 42 I love following the flow of life. While many may say that I lack perseverance and that I am too fickle, I believe in following my heart and divine timing.
My favorite part of this is laughing so hard when you make your jokes and hearing the silence of the audience 🤣🫶🏼then seeing you stay in your beautiful flow. This is so insightful ! I’ve put way to much expectations and judgement on what it ought to feel and be like when I’m following my heart/intuition/curiosity or path
Definitely an increase in sensitivity! Others around me have no idea of what I can see, sense and know regarding alot of what's going on with their internal state. My purpose is simply to keep the balance in my life and Be. I love helping others but have learned not to help unless asked, not to try and convince anyone of anything, not to share with them more than they need me to, etc. I prefer a solitary, quiet, low key, work behind the scenes kind of life more than crowded places, lots of friends and distractions.

Yes, that's me too, Sarah nailed it with "I'm needed over there." The only place I could see to turn is the trauma that made my life hell, which of course begat even more and different hells. Thinking maybe if I could resolve that, it would give a sense of purpose to my life, if that makes sense in a very messed-up way? Healing is a process, not a purpose. I am the queen of messed-up! 🤔🤨

Its not as complicated as it seems... our purpose is simply to raise the vibration of consciousness. Dont feel pressured into thinking you are chosen for some supreme purpose most of us arnt...even non believers that contribute love and compassion can raise the vibration aswell...

When I am called to purpose. I show up like it's a blind date with a blindfold and earmuffs. I Feel my way through and serve as an Alchemist. I used believe I was burdened with the gift of Catalyst. Now, I see me as an Alchemist.
Impromptu appointments. Like Clark Kent , phone booth becomes the situation. Then back to self doubting , resentful, scared , angry guy, for months , or years , in between appointments. Glad it's finally 🌼

Finding no job , having no passion for anything just like you sarah made me question my existence and i thought why i m even here when i m cant do anything right and have no purpose although i m curious about so many things and my family put judgement on everything i used to like in my childhood so did i , in this world where academic knowledge is very well appreciated i was always followed the creativity in different forms but when my creativity died and conditioning took over everything in my life become willless , passion less joyless Its a very stagnant time i m all hopeless ur video gave me hope thanks 🙏😊

I’ve been following you on UA-cam for a few months and felt immediately connected to all of your videos. Almost every topic that you delve into I know very little about beforehand and yet somehow I understand exactly what you’re saying and I feel it in me at a level that makes me feel like I’m coming home to something. I did realize today that what brings me back to your lessons is the certainty in which you say what you say. I realize that your certainty helps to confirm a lot of the things that I haven’t had words for. That certainty is what I needed in my own human experience to really feel that everything I am going through is so real. I believe in my human experience and all that I sense. "we cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain" Alan Watts , my life been a rough path for the past 3 years every since i started my journey to awake and it all started with the question "what am i doing? what's my purpose?" dark night, changing jobs because i face suppression by others because i'm being authentic and tell the truth even if it hurts, i started setting boundaries! and somehow the new chapter/job comes into my life the moment i face these suffering moments. Before my ego drive me to resist the while having a fear in me because of job security, losing income, but now...i have faith that the universe got my back, it's the journey and my reply shifted to "i love you, and i release you from any soul contracts or energies". Still struggle with the ego voice in my head though compelling me to resists but i believe things meant to go that way until i find my purpose.

This false belief in a human mortal existence separate and apart from the Infinite Spirit of God that you truly are is what is meant to be OVERCOME..... I have just started this journey for real as far as I can tell. And suddenly this appeared. I’m writing this to show myself that I’m on the right path. And therefore you are on the right path…. The increase of sensitivity. I have cried so much in the last months. Not all sad cries either. I’ve never understood how people cry from joy. I’ve experienced it. Joy so overwhelming you cry. I’ve been wrestling with so much. I lost my Mother last year. I’m sure is what triggered my shift. Now I’m after my purpose.

This is a subtle subject full of nuance and wrong turns. I think Sarah has rendered a very honest explanation of a personal quest that often times get infused with our own dishonesty. I also enjoyed seeing her more gregarious and less prepared side... each of ourselves are often far less "appropriate" than what appears in a photograph or video presentation.
I have loved the Alchemist since finding her site but this talk was THE BEST ONE because she talked about my life-for 50 odd years trying to find my purpose but being attracted to spirituality like an addict . I've always struggled with not being focused in life like others but rather wanting to dabble with many things (my aroma therapies as she said) then moving on. There so much in this presentation that in valuable it will require many listens with deep reflections-I can't thank you enough for this and hope many people discover this as I have and give it the effort to really us the advice to consider the benefit it may have in one's life.

Sometimes one’s purpose is set for a season, or won’t even be completed in your lifetime… but so long as you realise what your purpose is then it can be free flowing or a battle. Ultimately you are the answer to your purpose .
The way you expalin things is just idk how to describe this but you just resonate with me very very well. Its strange how I grew up with nihilist mindset but yet so strongly understand everyone's thoughts and feelings around me. Most times i dont even need to hear someone talk and i just know what they're going through. Makes me feel i know people better than they know themselves half of the time which is creepy every now and then and also depressing.
This nudged me out of being too cerebral about my job and the effort going in atm, to something that I don't consider 'my true calling' (when I'm being a diva). Gonna relax back into enjoying the development path I'm on with it all. 👌
Purpose is healing people in the way you can absent of ego. There will be suffering. But knowing the balance of when to exit a situation to not damage your ability to heal takes a little time, experience and repetition. 😊

I feel like I've felt my purpose since I was a child. It was definitely an unfolding journey since birth. It's because there's always this raging fire within me. She listed three things that deplete freewill 1- judgement (as Sarah here explains) 2- ideation, new obsessions 3- relational drama, victim- perpetrator cycle etc. All ego hooks. Omg that throat chakra realisation. I have the same problem. I was like root chakra I need to work chakra grounding. Sacral chakra too open bad bonding. Solar plexus more boundaries. Heart more love compassion. And then finally this video throat chakra. Finally so much released from this throat chakra. I need to speak my truth feelings thoughts. Especially to myself. Express myself. I didnt realise I had so much fear and Anxiety in expressing myself and that it has to do with this chakra❤. Sarah is truly amazing🙌. Purpose is integration. It's the process, not the destination. Connecting the inner with the outer. Over many lifetimes. Two worlds that make the outer and inner souls colliding to make a whole. That is only part of it. There is much more that happens. We are essentially a solar system. Expanding and contracting, rotating and moving through the cosmos. Purpose is not what you are attaining to be but what you are.

Finding no job , having no passion for anything just like you sarah made me question my existence and i thought why i m even here when i m cant do anything right and have no purpose although i m curious about so many things and my family put judgement on everything i used to like in my childhood so did i , in this world where academic knowledge is very well appreciated i was always followed the creativity in different forms but when my creativity died and conditioning took over everything in my life become willless , passion less joyless

I’ve been following you on UA-cam for a few months and felt immediately connected to all of your videos. Almost every topic that you delve into I know very little about beforehand and yet somehow I understand exactly what you’re saying and I feel it in me at a level that makes me feel like I’m coming home to something. I did realize today that what brings me back to your lessons is the certainty in which you say what you say. I realize that your certainty helps to confirm a lot of the things that I haven’t had words for. That certainty is what I needed in my own human experience to really feel that everything I am going through is so real. I believe in my human experience and all that I sense. "we cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain" Alan Watts , my life been a rough path for the past 3 years every since i started my journey to awake and it all started with the question "what am i doing? what's my purpose?" dark night, changing jobs because i face suppression by others because i'm being authentic and tell the truth even if it hurts, i started setting boundaries! and somehow the new chapter/job comes into my life the moment i face these suffering moments. Before my ego drive me to resist the while having a fear in me because of job security, losing income, but now...i have faith that the universe got my back, it's the journey and my reply shifted to "i love you, and i release you from any soul contracts or energies". Still struggle with the ego voice in my head though compelling me to resists but i believe things meant to go that way until i find my purpose.

Everything you say makes so very much sense. You are so articulate about these enormous concepts and feelings within spiritual awakening. You are such a comfort.
This is a subtle subject full of nuance and wrong turns. I think Sarah has rendered a very honest explanation of a personal quest that often times get infused with our own dishonesty. I also enjoyed seeing her more gregarious and less prepared side... each of ourselves are often far less "appropriate" than what appears in a photograph or video presentation.
I have loved the Alchemist since finding her site but this talk was THE BEST ONE because she talked about my life-for 50 odd years trying to find my purpose but being attracted to spirituality like an addict . I've always struggled with not being focused in life like others but rather wanting to dabble with many things (my aroma therapies as she said) then moving on. There so much in this presentation that in valuable it will require many listens with deep reflections-I can't thank you enough for this and hope many people discover this as I have and give it the effort to really us the advice to consider the benefit it may have in one's life.
Trauma is coming into my journey, smoking and addictions, like you said that is will power telling me it needs to help me! I get it. Filter of my authority.
Sometimes one’s purpose is set for a season, or won’t even be completed in your lifetime… but so long as you realise what your purpose is then it can be free flowing or a battle. Ultimately you are the answer to your purpose .
The way you expalin things is just idk how to describe this but you just resonate with me very very well. Its strange how I grew up with nihilist mindset but yet so strongly understand everyone's thoughts and feelings around me. Most times i dont even need to hear someone talk and i just know what they're going through. Makes me feel i know people better than they know themselves half of the time which is creepy every now and then and also depressing.

Omg that throat chakra realisation. I have the same problem. I was like root chakra I need to work chakra grounding. Sacral chakra too open bad bonding. Solar plexus more boundaries. Heart more love compassion. And then finally this video throat chakra. Finally so much released from this throat chakra. I need to speak my truth feelings thoughts. Especially to myself. Express myself. I didnt realise I had so much fear and Anxiety in expressing myself and that it has to do with this chakra❤. Sarah is truly amazing🙌. Purpose is integration. It's the process, not the destination. Connecting the inner with the outer. Over many lifetimes. Two worlds that make the outer and inner souls colliding to make a whole. That is only part of it. There is much more that happens. We are essentially a solar system. Expanding and contracting, rotating and moving through the cosmos. Purpose is not what you are attaining to be but what you are.

I had noticed in hindsights a couple decades ago that our purposes seeks us out, it put things in front of us to spark the interest but goodness it works the way you describe it as passion. So the event or situation was there refardless, it's that I noticed the thing as a spark of curiosity in a form unique to me.. How we want to share ourself to the world. Gotcha.
