Chisels may be flexy and forgiving, but the "hardtail for dummies" is basically "Ass up, knees bent, and nonstiff arms". It basically means to use your body as suspension. Less time on saddle, more time on body position and control. Not rushing you, but just an advice from a fellow hardtail maniac :D
