Hey! I have a question.. i got some issues with this printer.
I got an usb kabel - but when the software tries to connect the printer with my laptop - it says „the printer is not recognized, check the connection.“ i restarted the printer, laptop & software like 5 times. But its the same problem

What? I need to sperately go to Amazon to buy that usb cable which is essential to setup the printer?
Unfortunately the USB cable is not included in the packaging I guess the expect people to connect the printer via wireless. We have the USB at Vinneltech.store free delivery here is the link vinneltech.store/collections/all
You can find it in any electronics store, don't need to go on the internet and buy it.

I bought this printer ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 to replace an aging HP printer. It is just used for casual home printing so I don't need anything more. Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
During the installation it wont detect my printer it says there is no printer detected
This printer only work with USB cable connection which is not included in the packing here in UK ,so you need to get the usb cable to connect this to your PC. If you got the usb cable please share more light where your are having connection problem. With USB cable you just need to plug one end to the printer and the other to your laptop. Then download the software Canon Print inject/ selphy app from google play store on your PC in order to scan ,copy and print.
