I would be retiring or working less in 5 years and I just want to know best how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spending or investments. I earn around $165K per year but nothing to show for it yet.
you're not alone, I'm part of the High Earners, Not Rich Yet (HENRY) not having much left after taxes, housing, and family costs.. not to mention saving for an affluent retirement.
Don't be a marketing strategy for luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Tag Heuer without having your money give birth to more money (I recommend ''The Richest Man In Babylon'') Rather, you can move to wealth by reducing expenses and increasing savings or investments. As far as I'm concerned, its ideal to consult a reliable financial advisor for such objectives.
@@susie4522 I totally agree, the end worries of handling my finance came in the person of a license advisor from CHARLES SCHWAB, and in less than 5 years, I've made it into a staggering $10M after subsequent investments. In my experience, fear can take control if waiting too long to set investment goals, but that should go away once you set the plan into motion.

@@lamp2248 My FA is "Ashley Breanne Haley" watched her on a CNBC interview where she was featured and reached out to her afterwards. She has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look up her name online if you care supervision. I basically copy her trades.
I started trading last year part time since I have a full time job. I ended up losing a fair amount of money due to lack of discipline, emotional control, and journaling. I paper traded from September through December and now I just recently picked it back up at the start of the year. I am currently journaling on a standard notebook and excel sheet so this journal would help me so much! Love the content! Keep it up!
Yes please on the bullet journal to stay on track. Last year my focus wasn't there, half in, half out.
I think that the trading journal will help me a lot, reflecting on every trade I open and allowing me to look at them, analyze them and get better ;)

The journal would help me track my progress. I tried to track my progress in the past but was just writing it down on lined paper and became super disorganized really quick. This would be great!

I think everyone who takes this seriously should win. People that are truly dedicated to creating and sticking to a plan. And most importantly who is willing to analyze each and every trade after it was taken. What went good, bad. What could have been improved upon. The book would definitely help for sure, though I personally created a spreadsheet to track everything, with pictures included of the chart when I entered, exited, and afterthoughts of the trade. Also Risk management is calculated automatically at 3% of total account value for each trade, and breaks down the number of shares I can buy. Treat this as a business, therefore have a plan, and stick to it.

Thanks for all the information you gave us through the videos. I just started my journey as a trader the second week of December, but more focus now, 2 day of January, and I love. it, and that trading journal will help me to accomplish my 2023 goals as trader. Cheers men.!!!!
Take it easy. Swingtrade. Best advice. Mean reversion strategy on the daily. Look 3 months. See what price using Keltner or Bollinger band. Identify extreme prices. Price will always revert back to mean. Check what trend is. Look at stock and index. Use RSI and ADX to check momentum. So trading news will not give you edge. Beacuse then you will always chase price. You need to identify extreme prices. Buy stocks which in current market might be underpriced..has it gone back to mean. What trend does it have 3 6 9 months.
2nd piece of advice. Wait for the trend to revert with 1 green daily. Is RSI showing below 30 or roundabout. Check MACD momentum. Heading back up? Use 3-4 indicators. Are the trade lining up. You cant always catch a bottom but you work with probabilities. If that rate is 7/8 out of 10. Your good. Pick stocks that have a track record. Show me money (companies have to make profit). Not penny stocks. Be patient. Dont jump in...has the overall market rally lately. Maybe downturn. Wait. Is any macro news coming up. Dont trade stocks when at quarterly presentation. To much surprise factor. Build confindence and wealth long term. Start slow.
Now 3rd piece of advice regarding trend. Respect the trend. And find out what that is both intermediate trend and long term trend. Obviously we bottomed out 2022..2023 means volatile market. That is paint brush using large strokes. But the important thing about trend it always prevail until a new motion puts it new direction. So this is the law. Newtons law. An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force. So stimulation is reason to uptrend 2021. 2022 inflation and macro news put in a new direction. Good luck.

People should check out what the biggest market makers use (Jim Dalton). T.O.P. Charts (Time-Price-Opportunity) Charts. They show where the position is and the order flow (broken down into 30 min time frames). When you couple it with Volume Profile, you have a pretty powerful system to see where price accepts and rejects, and where it most likely will go to (during and after a move)

I think Vwap needs to be anchored to the start of the opening of the trading day. Like the start of the New York or start of London which ever your trading. I trade futures and a standard none anchored Vwap can be wildly off from what price is currently doing.

I dont know this guy or his experience, but I can tell you as someone who works with real big money institutional traders vwap as he is describing it's use is probably the most misunderstood and mis used tool available to traders.
How do it actually used?

Warren Buffet has one of the greatest investing track records in history. His average over a multi decade career was around 10% per year. Take that how you want. Cheers
The question is 17% of how much. Warren buffet 10% of billions is a lot. The other question is how many months you can do that. Dont focus in 1 month result, it can lie you. There is people make 100% in one month others are happy with 5% consistent other 10%

@@whatsap5109 depends of what result do you mean and you are looking for. Focus on consistency not %,if you can do 3 months 17% thats your normal for the next 3 months. If you make one month 17% , other 3% , other -5%, then you have a differente average as a base line. If you wait 1 year to know where you at probably is too much time for a progress view. Wareenbuffet can make 10 % and you can make 50% or 5% consistency. Dont set a limit because warren make 10%, focus on you.
How much money you make in the first few months does not indicate how good of a trader you are most of the time
