Awesome video, you deserve more subs! I love that you show the modeling process in Solidworks all the way through slicing and printing, hope you do more like this.

A tip for you too: using ABS juice and a brim on the part should solve your adhesion issues (assuming the bed is level). I just dissolve failed prints in Acetone, then apply it using a cheap little sponge brush to the glass bed. The whole bed becomes the first layer that the part adheres to, and it's especially strong with a brim!

i use a mix of glue and water, but i have seen the melt process as well. I think my bed isn't level currently. I may have bumped it just enough i was feeding new material in and out for like 3 times.

Nice! Glue and water is definitely more friendly than acetone/ABS solution. Another good trick for improving the quality of ABS parts is to use an enclosure -- putting a cardboard box over the printer with a cut out flap to check on things works in a pinch but can be a fire hazard, so no leaving it unattended. Lately I've switched from ABS to PETG. The PETG seems to have very similar properties, is (apparently) less toxic, doesn't need an enclosure, and adheres great to just hairspray. If you haven't tried it yet you should!

Its all in an enclosure which usually stays pretty warm. Only after a 12 hr print did i notice seperation due to cooldown. I also have a feeling that my bed isn't heating evenly. I have a test for that next. But its not a sure thing, since i don't have one of those heat gun sensors.

try popping the protectors off the center ball bearing, and then clean out the grease and replace it with oil, and it will spin faster.

Thanks John this is what Scott Suggested as well. Maybe i can make a video out of this step.

For a better roll, you can remove the cover dust on the bearings and clean the oil inside with acetone.

In't there supposed to be oil in it? Or is that to keep it from rusting while they sit on the shelf?

If you want to print ABS without warping i suggest PrintBite (a new Print Surface by Flex3Drive) or a little Slurry (ABS mixed with acetone). Happy printing :D

I tried yesterday with the acetone slurry, but didn't have much luck. I bought new glue so my mixture is correct again and some new brushes. Hopefully if all goes well ill be printing all day, as well as making a new Hand Spinner.

I just take some Acetone and about a handful of failed prints so the slurry is like elmers glue and then apply it on the surface while its hot with a paper towel. But thats a PITA when switching between material and so i ordered PrintBite from here: flex3drive.com/printbite/
You have to tinker with the nozzle height but when its all dialed up its really nice. You print in ABS, let the print cool down after finish .You hear a little "crack" and you can take it off the platform without any effort like if it was placed there but that depends on the Part i guess. Sometimes you have to apply a little force to get it off. And if it doesnt stick anymore, let it cool down and wipe over it with acetone and let it stand for a about 15 Minutes and its revived. I would look into it. If you dont switch materials so often, i guess the slurry is just as fine as printbite. I got this video under my suggestions btw and also subbed you already. Nice Videos. I have a 3D Printer myself. Its an Anet A6 Prusa I3 clone.

      what a mixture?

I use a certain type of Elmers Glue, mixed with water 50/50. I also re adjusted the Bed Height and am finally getting good prints again. you will see in the next video im uploading currently.

Can you send me the link to where you bought this printer?

I bought mine used on Craigslist. I looked recently and found 2 in my area for $100 less than what i paid for mine. So check Craigslist, you may find a good deal!
