The Zohar HaKadosh actually develops this idea, that the Sitrah Achrah gets it's piece, in many places. (This is also a discussion with mayim achronim.)
A K Keller Shlitah likes to explain this idea with R M Futerfass's story about hiding the playing guards on the guards at the gulag.
Regarding the anecdotes depicting the Rebbe's holy way of walking to visit his mother, I feel compelled to offer an alternative understanding, leaniyas daati:
The Rebbe was on his way to visit his mother. It is a mitzvah deoraysu of Kibud Eim. If shluchei mitzvah aino nizaken, it is conceivable that the Rebbe felt it was pashut inappropriate, maybe assur for him to delay. Therefore it may be specifically appropriate davka when the Rebbe would visit his mother, to take the shortest most direct route, both in terms of where he crossed the street and how he walked in traffic.
    With respect and appreciation.

Regarding the concept that the Rebbe crossed the street without looking, perhaps, because there was nothing to fear. Doesn't make much sense, as it is also היפך שו"ע. But perhaps מצד מלף פורץ גדר. As the Rebbe has the din of malchus, ממילא he creates his own path.

I have no idea how long this is going on but someone has been editing my UA-cam comments 🤦‍♀️. Someone asked me on UA-cam why my posted photo is of Yishai Fleisher 😳 I just changed my gmail password. I am telling you this information because there’s a comment that I posted that was edited and now it reads that I learned from Chabad that the Rebbe is Moshiach. I tried but I am unable to edit or delete the comment. Maybe in the future Google will find some type of security solution to prevent this problem from recurring. Good Shabbos Tzadik. Zygabenched!
