Hi Phil, yes we did not want to invest in an expensive one to start off with & most were not available, saw this one & fitted our needs perfect 👍
I have this awning. I much prefer it to our big one. Easy to put up and fits everything we need to a weekend away, been using it for a year and its great. I have never figured out what those poles do.
Yes it's a nice lightweight awning, the 2 spare poles are to prop up one of the front doors to make a canopy, never done it, I think you need some guy ropes to hold the top of the poles steady, thanks for watching 👍
Hi Andrew. We are waiting for delivery of our 550. Been looking at air awnings and bit hard to see from your video but the Vango Air model we’ve looked at is either 260 or 300. Do you think a 300 would fit from between the front window / door and finish just upto the back window? (Looks like there may just be 40cm left on the right side of yours to make a 300 fit?)
Hi Chris, thanks for watching the video, we actually struggled to get an awning due to the high sales of leisure vehicles & accessories there was hardly any stocks at most suppliers last year, we got the 2.6 mtr as I knew it would fit easily, we wanted a light weight awning which was not to expensive this one suited us as our first awning for the caravan, I would prefer not to say if a 3 metre awning would fit in case I'm wrong and you waste your money, Hope you create lots of happy memories when you get the caravan 👍
It's all you need without spending a fortune. Was the roof lining easy to fit & did it stop any condensation?
Yes they just fit up with a toddle & into an elasticated hoopp it did hell with condensation on the roof but lots of Daddy long legs decided it was a nice place to set up home between awning and lining 👍
@@andrew-karens-adventures if the roof lining didn't sort your condensation then you need more ventilation and fully cover the ground with a waterproof sheet
