- I had to upload the video again there was something wrong with it but, anyways.....
We finally made it on our long awaited camping trip and we had a grad time, be it doing water activities, walking or relaxing and talking about nothing in particular.
it was a good time to refresh and unwind.

I smiled the whole time because someone (some group) on Earth has figured out how to do life RIGHT from cradle to grave. I am sure there are others, but to see this brings pure joy to my soul. It's a mini-vacation and motivator at the same time.

from what I have seen. You have the best life EVER!! you have many hands so no one has to work very hard. you have all the machines to make your life easy. where it be in the kitchen or out in on the land and every thing in between. I don't see a thing wrong with your life. I wish I had know about your group when I was young. You have everything anyone would ever want or need.

I am 70-years-old and I still look forward to gatherings with my "girlfriends". Most of us are grandmothers but, a lunch together, a shopping trip or a walk in the woods s a pleasure for all. Most of us no longer sleep on the ground!.
Its sounds delightful but, times with friends usually are 😊
They make some really awesome air mattresses now! I am older and just returned from an awesome long tent camping trip. My new air mattress was so wonderful and really comfortable- you should try it out!! Being surrounded by peaceful wilderness is SO very therapeutic!

Giselle Waldner: We have two Single size air mattresses, or twin size, and I like both of them. One is a Coleman brand and the other is a store brand from our local Meijer, can’t remember what the label is called & it’s packed away now. Out West you might see Fred Meyer stores, and I believe they carry the same brand because that is the Western branch of the same family. I’m not sure if they are in Canada but they are in the US including Alaska. 🏕

So happy the young ladies were able to get away and enjoy some down time. It was delightful seeing the gentleman cooking fries for you all. The camp lights made it so cozy, I’m glad you retrieved them for the trip. Packing up to go home is the sad part but I am sure you made some fond memories. Now the vacation is over it’s back to work! I am sure the garden is calling you!

Hawkins Cheesies! Those are the best. Im American and I had a friend who used to bring me those from Canada. I live 20 minutes from the border but of course it is closed. I will have to go get some Cheesies once they open the border again.

Brings back memories of when I stayed with my grandparents place on lake Manitoba… such a great place! Lots of lake time and camping ( steep rock ) check it out!
Watching you scrape the mud off your sandals reminded me of when I was younger and we lived near Steinbach, MB-- we called that mud "Manitoba Gumbo" and it was tricky when you got it in your bike wheel spokes 😉😝😁
Reminded me of how the now oh so pretty suburban development of today used to be the swamp we children would get mucked up in while chasing down frogs, snakes, and crawdaddies. The new folks here have NO clue. :) TC~
Got this video when I was on pontoon 4 generations of us. Made me fill like I was there.
Oh the smell of bacon, toast and coffee when camping 😊
Only downside to that was, it wasn't long enough, I would have stayed at least a week, what a great area to camp in!!

I am watching from a very old phone which sometimes doesn´t work. I thought it is my phone and decided to come back later to check if it works.
Your trip looked like so much fun! Camping is not for me though. I can make it work when the weather is nice but for some reason I always get rain. Thinking about it, it makes me realize that I have quite few crazy camping stories to share :D

I guess in a way we are also used to them :)
Our grandmothers, great-grandmothers and all our female ancestors did plenty of work, clearing forests, plowing, planting, harvesting, milking, making soap and apple butter over a fire, hunting, foraging, living as pioneers on the frontier etc- all in dresses. They did not let their dresses hold them back from anything! If they did it, I know that we can too!
@@salyluz6535 Being menstruating or pregant, or just post giving birth, raising other children, nursing, laundry, sewing, homemaking, cooking, gathering, learning and using native plants, storing them and foods for some serious winters...yep...human beings, women and men and blended, have had to be very tough, smart, and intelligent to survive. Amazing, when ya really think about it. We ALL come from some serious "bad asses"! YEA! TC~
As A Independent Fundamental Baptist woman, anything done in pants can be done in a skirt. We even swim in skirts. Gardening, Harvesting, animal chores, cutting wood, riding horses, quads, boating, well everything is done in a skirt. I can't remember ever wearing pants honestly...lol

we are regular farm people, but its similar to a colony.We are raising 25,000+ hogs and we have 5 families who work for us. 5 houses one for each family.each have a 5 year contract with us. each from a different part of the world. alot of people but not quite a colony.

@@ericahoelscher3733 lucky i have a twin brother to do half the work, covid took both parents and both grandparent within 2 months in 2020, leaving 2 16 year old boys [us] to work the farm. never a break, brother works the animal jobs while i spend 10+ hours each day working the numbers, orders of feed, buy minerals, sell the market ready hogs. it might sound like a awesome channel to have but not right now.

What does the word "diene" mean? Is it short for something else? All that comes to mind is "diener" which means servant, but that does not describe you, young women.
“Deine” is German for “your”.

Thanks for sharing your camping trip. I noticed a gentleman cooking during your trip. This made me wonder, are the women in your community allowed to do things away from your community without a male chaperone? If you had female friends who did not live in a community would you be able to go out to lunch with them or are you only able to socialize and make friends with other Hutterite and encouraged not to make friends outside of the colonies.

@@gisellewaldner9406, I finally got your mail away today. The clerk said it will take about a month to get there though, 25+ days were his words.
I can't remember much of what else I said, but the scrambled egg recipe is as follows;
Ingredients:
2, large (700G) eggs
100 ml milk
A tip of a fork handle scoop of turmeric (I hope this is self-explanatory)
A sprinkle of black pepper
A splash of Canola oil to line the frypan
Method:
Pre-heat the frypan to make the oil runnier.
Beat the eggs in a suitable bowl (I use a measuring 500 ml jug).
Pour the milk into a separate jug (this is important) add the turmeric and black pepper and beat well to mix.
Add the milk mix to the beaten eggs and beat until well combined.
Cook in a hot pan until well done and serve hot.
Serves one.
I hope you like my little variation.
