Hey everyone, thank you so much for watching! Please consider subscribing to the channel. Who is the movie character that haunted your dreams and made you afraid to go to sleep at night?
The score alone terrifies me!!! Im 42 and saw this at a sleepover at 8 yrs old I was a mess lol it became my favorite of all time, Freddy is such a great villain
There's so much to the score! And I love the how the soundtrack feels so diverse with slow and fast scores. Sleepovers were the best, especially watching horror films or gory stuff that we definitely shouldn't be watching lol! Which is your favorite of the sequels? I've seen two of them.
@jessebatres6895 definitely part 3 it's so good!! Part 2 is different, I don't hate it and I don't like it, part 4 is ok hated 5 but New Nightmare was really good
The sequels I watched back in the day are part 2, which I want to check out again since the character is named Jesse lol! And I remember my sister and I enjoying it and kind of laughing a bit as well haha! I also watched Freddy's Dead. But I haven't seen the rest, so I'll have to watch part 3 pretty soon :)
Maybe as a kid u covered ur face and only remember the parts you braved . Usually kids cover their faces instinctually when scared. You are conquering this life long fear head on! Great Job⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️You Got this ☑️
Candyman haunted me...I used to be so scared to look in the mirror...thinking Candyman would come out and kill me! Tony Todd's voice was so creepy in Candyman!
Awesome! I bet anytime you would turn off the light leaving the bathroom, you probably made a quick little sprint if he came into your mind lol! That's one I have to watch. I know the basic premise, and watched Part 3 as a kid which I remember not being so great. But I hear part 1 is one of the best horror films of the 80's/90's era.
Thank you so much Roberto! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) The other ones I saw as a kid were part 2 and Freddy's Dead. I haven't seen part 3, so I'll need to check out more of the sequels!
That's one I watched back in the day as well, and I wonder if the character being named Jesse made me think about Freddy even more lol! I might watch that one in November. Do you think they'll ever make another film? I'm surprised it's taking this long for them to make one.
@@jessebatres6895 Lol how far can they keep going with Freddy at this point is my biggest concern. At this point I'm waiting to see Predator versus Michael Myers 😂 or Jason vs Pumpkin head! Bro the first two Nightmares are where Freddy is his scariest. After that he might as well be doing stand-up comedy.
I tried to watch this movie when I was ten in the middle of the day and I had to turn it off in the middle of the opening scene. I never had seen a horror movie before. I eventually watched it a few years later.
This one movie did it for me more than any growing up as a kid in the 80s today I don’t get scared but I will have a nightmare if I even see an image. It’s like an energy was released when I was frightened as a kid and is activated when I watch it
Wow, that dream you talked about would make a good scene in a Freddy movie. Carrie was the only movie that gave me nightmares I was about 9 or 10 at the time. Then that became my favorite horror movie with also The Thing. When you described the conveyor belt of people it remined me of the Pink Floyd video Another Brick in the Wall. It was children on a conveyor belt, need to see the video.
My opinion, the best and scariest of all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. My personal favorite is the 4th, The Dream Master. I always liked it for some reason. Freddy through the series always had the best one liners.
Thank you, Jesse! 😨 I saw this one in the cinema. I've seen all the installments in the franchise... but I think I appreciate this one, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS (1987) and NEW NIGHTMARE (1994) the most. 🔸 I think you'd also enjoy the documentary HOLLYWOOD DREAMS & NIGHTMARES: THE ROBERT ENGLUND STORY (2022).

That was a caterpillar coming out of Tina's mouth. The priest that was giving the funeral service was reciting that Bible verse because most of the people who were there thought that Rod killed Tina and so that verse is about karma.

It's like a lamp/snow globe that has a "skeleton bride and groom" in it. The design of the lamp is like those gas lamps you see in films set in the 1700's-1800's.
Imagine trying to sell this concept back in the conservative Reagan era: A psychopathic monster that only kills you when you sleep! No wonder most studios didn't want to touch this outlandish story. It was only New Line that had faith in Wes Craven's talent to write/direct such an original movie much less start a franchise with it. Taking creative chances is a lesson Hollywood should learn instead of doing countless remakes/sequels/prequels.
Not a fan of horror movies There's enough of that shit IRL if you're paying attention. I had a recurring nightmare where l was in a dark forrest and I was attacked by demons and torn apart. The second time l had it l ran but wasn't fast enough. The third time the demons were JUST about to grab me when I lifted off the ground and flew away. Didn't have it again.
OH MAN! That's terrifying! I hope after you flew away that third time that you were able to use that same power in other nightmares going forward. I remember going Wolverine on Michael Myers in my dream once. Usually he would get me, but that one time I just tore him apart.
@@jessebatres6895 Turning the tables on the prick, SWEET. I was having nightmares a lot and my Mum told me "They can't hurt you. It's only a dream". So after that when a frick'n nightmare started I'd just repeat, "You can't hurt me. You're only a dream". And after a short time they stopped.
REWATCH??? Dang it Jesse I knew something was up when you were teaching the viewers how Nancy was the new focus after Tina died. I brushed it off as a lucky guess, but almost halfway through I noticed you have REWATCH in the title meaning your reactions here are not quite genuine as you already seen this. I should stop and watch the original viewing, but I'm gonna stick through to the end to see how you carry yourself. -_-
So here's one thing right. I'll always be truthful with what's a Rewatch and what's a Reaction. How's one way I can prove this. I basically cut off a giant pipeline of what would flood in a shitload of subs and views by stating that I've watched every Rocky Film religiously and every Halloween Film (except part 3). Hell, that Rocky franchise alone (if I wanted to "fake" react to them) would've probably doubled my subscriber count in a month. But not gonna go that route. It's just something that would rub me the wrong way.
@@jessebatres6895 Okay fine. I'll eventually go back and watch your original reaction, not gonna do so at the moment. I'm not accusing you of faking anything, but disappointed this isn't your FIRST raw reaction and thus you'd remember things and not everything would come off surprising to you. Luckily some things still did so it wasn't all a bust, but I can sort of see what surprised you the first time watching this and piece together similar comments you made then on what you question or comment on here in certain scenes.

I wish you would have worn a heart rate monitor while watching this, poor you. 🙈
That might have to be something I do in the future lol!
