- April is all about the spawn in a lot of the country. Way south some are done and up north it might be a ways out but those shallow spawning bass can be so much fun to catch. You can catch a lot of them too on moving baits like a swim jig and a frog!

Do you tie your 50lb braid directly to your swim jig and frog or do you use a leader? I hate trying to tie a leader, I never get the knot just just right. :)
Try a crazy alberto knot. Super strong and easy to tie
