When Rick does messed up stuff for selfish reasons it’s usually relatively small and contained, when Morty does anything you usually wind up with stuff like this
That's how it would happen with anyone who isn't as much of careless guy as Rick.
I doubt that
REALLY heavy emphasis on "relatively" and "usually" xD
@@LifeEnemy right? The few times rick messed up ended in apocalyptic events. The Kronenburg incident alone is way worse than anything Morty has ever done combined.
Like with the snake planet
I love how real Jerry is "i just need to know how much i should pretend to be upset"
He realises it takes good and he's witnessed enough murder and death to be numb to it 💀
@@Dual2212 nah, more like it goes with Rick's speech at the end where just being alive means feeding off the suffering of others, so it's really a farce how people latch onto one thing to give up for the sake of moral superiority when damn near everything they own was produced by an exploited labor force from all around the globe, for example
@@battlesheep2552 point being empathy is now rlly hard to come by for anyone close to rick (not including morty)
@@Dual2212 its rare IRL too. People pretend to care about some cause for a few weeks just because it's popular, then they will forget all about it without having done a damn thing other than virtue signal. It's why Jerry says "can't we just join the fascist half of the country?", because at least they are honest about not caring.
@@battlesheep2552Shouldn't the fascist also be care? Because I always assume not caring mean not doing anything regarding the subject at hand to avoid moral responsibility
It should just be a rule of thumb that Morty always stay in the car, because every action he takes, however minute, leads to deaths by the galaxies.
poor bastard has the worst luck.
Rick often does tell Morty to drop things or just stay out of the way. Morty never listens.
@@DeathnoteBB imagine where somewhere in the infinite cosmos some ricks lobotomize morty and put inhibitior chips in them
@@mrnukes797 Creating a finite curve where Rick's the smartest has side effect of making Morty dumber, which arguably has the same end effect.
lol I like how they adjusted to the way they pronounce Parmesan in this dimension
Parmesian
I actually forgot about that
that was a nice nod to the prior season for fans
Such a non-joke
This show is dead af
@@Benzinilinguine you are dead af
Once again Morty wanting to do the right thing backfires. The gas cloud, snake planet, Planetina, and now this.
True.
You forget vat of acid and finding his gf
@@mrnukes797 In vat of acid Morty only wanted to live a consequence free life, it had nothing to do with being right or wrong
@@IAmTheChoosenOne Did you watch the episode?
@@mrnukes797 Do u mean at the end where he merged all the possibilities where only he did it?
I love how consistent they are, They're in a world where they pronounce Parmesan as Parmeesian and still do pronounce it that way despite being wrong.
Well it’s not wrong, it’s actually pronounced parmeesian there.
@@DeathnoteBB yes but would you get used to it if America became British and British became American?
@@apolloisnotashirt ??? Presumably yes?
@@DeathnoteBB understandable. British accents are fun to do.
@@apolloisnotashirt I mean I thought you just meant the words, since in that universe the word is different and that’s it
"Im a murderer"
"No morty, what you did was MUCH more indirect"
Rick rubbing it in that Morty is causing more deaths than normal murderers without even trying
Nah what he meant by that was that he wasn't murdering ppl he was causing them to suicide which"indirectly" Means he killed them indirectly
You would think after 6 seasons Morty would realize when he tries to do the right thing it would end up blowing back up in his face
That’s how you know he’s an idiot.
I know, right? The gas cloud, snake planet, Planetina, and now this. Backfire!
He didn't even try to do the right thing, he just informed them that they are edible.
The RIGHT THING would be telling Rick "No more Spaghetti Nights"
But noooo... Morty had to be the idiot he always was.
"Oh no Morty. What you did was much more indirect" XD
the way summer pronounces parmasean is a subtle hint for the change in universe
Isn't it a call back from when they arrived in this universe?
Or maybe their calling it that so people still think their the same family
@@florahuang5923why would that be a better explanation? why not just accept they’re the same family from the season 6 premier???
honestly I was so invested on the main story that I didn’t notice but good catch!
same bruh@@marissaturner7289
It's kind of hilarious, albeit in a twisted way, how all this turned out. Rick finds a way to benefit from a severely messed-up scenario that requires no effort on his part, and nothing goes wrong. Morty gets involved in a way to try and prove he has the moral high ground and just makes everything worse.
I mean, the dude was a serial killer and gave concent

@@stevenbyford5615 Yeah, but they already had the infinite food machine, why? That’s the real question
“It’s like if the whole planet was bought by discovery” 💀
1:48 love the joke against David and Discovery. That’s brilliant writing
It’s even funnier/sadder when you realize discovery owns rick and morty.
Discovery deserves it for canceling so many Cartoon Network/Adult Swim shows.
How long ago was this episode written?
@@JordanT711 and giving platforms for people like the Duggars and by extension the IBLP/ATI
@@RAINBOWNIGTHMAREPRODUCTIONS considering the joke, may be last year
I really like that the interdimensional cable ad about the food at the zoo got used here... its a nice touch
When Morty tries to do the right thing, people usually die. When he tries to do the selfish thing, he tears himself up. He is really only good for following Rick or Summer.
The gas cloud, snake planet, Planetina, and now this: All backfired.
"They dyed their sun institutional grey. Thats not easy im kind of impressed".
Wow. Praise from Caesar
Rick doesn't even care. He just needs Morty to know how badly he messed up. lol. Some things never change.
honestly jerry has the best attitude here
I like to imagine this isn't just rick rubbing it in, but him trying to teach morty a lesson and just not knowing how without all the cynicism and nihilism
One of the best Rick and Morty episodes ever. Great writing
False
@Josh-cn7gm I really loved it. Selection of music, the deep nihilism and pointless of life or caring about anything. Watching Rick continuing his character arch caring slowly more and more about his family.
Awesome episode

"Single-origin" is such a hilariously dubious and empty thing to say to try to make a product seem ethical
By the fact people likes this episode i can tell this episode and "the vat of acid episode" are like kissing cousins
With a complex writting and dark messed up stuff that makes people apreciate them
I like how this episode throws shade at its Parent Company again.
Morty has committed plenty of worse atrocities but this is what makes him guilty?
Doesnt he feel guilty every single time he fucks something up?
Morty mind blower~~~
@@rdowgthis is like the space snake where the snake poisoned him, killed it, then replaced it with a normal snake which eventually wiping it out from existence
Not guilty. Just upset with Rick for hiding the truth. So he set out to high-road him, like he tends to do, only for to blow up in his face.
Whenever he sees something messed up, especially if it's something Rick knows about, Morty tries his best to fix it. And I like to make it clear that there are only a few times where he messes up and makes things worse.
I feel like this episode only exists to remind viewers they're still in the reality where they say Parmesan weird
Can we get a F in chat for Roger his sacerfise was not in vain!!!🍝

Man, how fucking good could spaghetti possibly be?
I mean, imagine if you ate it and you nutted🤷🏻♂️
This episode makes me so hungry for spaghetti
Honestly the funniest part of this episode was that Morty just kept trying to invent ethical ways to keep eating people instead of just introducing REAL spaghetti to the population. Like just classic dough and tomato sauce lol
Speaking of indirect, this reminds me of him feeling guilty about killing the space snake. So he sent an earth snake to replace it resulting time traveling Terminator Snakes.
when you really think about it the eating jam with his fingers scenes are fucking genius his whole life story shows us how his life first went up then down and then up again but fundamentally he always stayed the same symbolized by already mentioned eating jam with his fingers scenes
And I bet his spaghetti tasted so subtly sweet.
I like how they call it MortyO's, despite it not being O-shaped. It's just normal spaghetti shaped.
Such a good episode
The fact they're eating canned spaghetti means they deserve to go to hell.
The family’s eating straight from the corpse. I think eating from the can is worse
So does everyone who benefit from the Meat industry deserve to go to hell as well?

Jerry casually saying what we're all thinking
Wow! What a genius and thought-provoking concept! I’m glad I am smart enough to enjoy this!
"Rodger Wayne Marder." Let's unpack this joke.
First, Scott Marder is a producer and writer. Second, the dude is a cannibal, and it's making fun of the whole, "they always have three names" trope of killers. Reference to John Wayne Gacy. Thirdly, "Marder" a lot like "martyr." Which is what they needed to sell the product.
I think Marder is closer to... you know, "murder".
No matter how long I listen to the newer voices I’ll never get use to them
this episode made me hungry
first purge planet, then snake planet, and now spaghetti planet
That's horrible, just horrible.. so like.... where do they sell this? I'm just asking so I can make sure I definitely don't go there and buy all their spaghetti.
This episode’s literally another Morty Torture Porn episode
Kinda?
They really like to do that whole life thing too - that Blips and Chitz game (at least twice), that Vat of Acid where Morty lived a whole life with the girl.
The episode with the Roy game was even worse because Morty was responsable for like hundreds of deaths, just so he could save 1 gas being (Which he himself then had to kill too)
It annoys me to no fucking end when people use media buzzwords without being aware of their meaning in a futile attempt to appear smart and media-savvy
There’s a quote by Sir Frazer that explains why Morty wreaks so much havoc:
But once a fool always a fool, and the greater the power in his hands the more disastrous is likely to be the use he makes of it. The heaviest calamity in English history, the breach with America, might never have occurred if George the Third had not been an honest dullard.
Love how morty trying to "fix" something but keep back fire up.
At this point he should just leave things alone, or blow it all up.
Between this and the knights of the sun he has proven to be unwise and his actions to cause way too many deaths.
This episode really shows the different voice actors...
No it doesn't lol
You say this like it's bad lol
You hear the voice actors but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t show any of them
@@errorx_x1063Morty’s voice is extremely irritating

perfect episode
Really reminds me of the origin of Mother's Day.
In all seriousness, this legit feels like the ending to a twilight zone episode.
I like how their reaction after finding out that they are eating people again😂
Those poor aliens.
The Gods listen! Rain, rain the meatballs! Open the gullets!
I mean it not like he could just FABRICAT really good spaghetti instead of eating people who TURN INTO really good spaghetti, I mean hes only made a truly level floor and a space ship. Oh also I guess: A artificial ghost, a way to BREAK INTO the after life, a way to RULE the after life, and a way to HARNESS the afterlife, a literal universe in something inside a shoe box, dark mayter, and oh yeah, dimensional travel.
Are the writers doing alright?
The Zebra thing lol
"Pass the parmeeseean." Looks like Summer got over how awful that sounded like.
Morty, please stop trying to do the “right thing”. For everyone else’s sake.
whenever he “does the right thing” it’s always 10x worse than what rick does
morty just needs to learn why rick doesn’t bother trying to fix anything
rick KNOWS this because last time he himself tried to “do the right thing” he caused morty’s home dimension to be chronenberg’d
so rick just doesn’t bother and morty doesn’t seem to wonder why rick doesn’t try anymore
0:20 *BOOM*
THE FORCE OF THAT SLAM SAYS IT ALL...
Its rick once again being pissed off with mortys "i need to go back and make this right" attitude as he got sick of it after the first time with snake planet.
Like seriously you'd think after morty fucked with his portal gun to go back and "fix" stuff he'd learn not to do that as it always goes wrong.
This is just a fantastic subtle act that shows he knows and is sick of it.
Snake Planet wasn't even the first time. Remember Narnia? It was supposed to be a storage for wine for Mr. Nimbus and turned into a civilization thinking Morty was their devil.
I'm wouldn't even pretend to care, I already eat- nevermind.

I love how they're essentially throwing shit to the irl "ethical" products (because lots of times is straight up a lie)
Same with 'Organic' -- I worked at a supermarket meatcutter...the 'organic' meat arrived prepackaged from wherever and was already browning, and uses some obscure USDA rules to claim it's 'organic' , meanwhile the beef/chicken/pork was cut/wrapped fresh daily and would be pink and healthy looking. I'll never touch 'organic' meat for as long as I live.
@@michaelmclaughlin261 thankfully, that's not a problem in my country (unless you live in the capital) and also, that's something people don't stop to think or understand, that something being organic and natural doesn't mean it's necessarily good, like, dirty water is technically natural, but I won't drink that and get diarrea for the week, no thanks, give me filtered and purified water
Wow. Just, wow.
OK....OK - On my 700th viewing of "Ethical Spehetti" - I JUST caught Summer saying "Parmeeesian"!!! - OMG! - Wait?!? - What dimension are they in now?!? LOL - WOW!!!! - This is going to require A LOT more BEER and FUNYUNS!!! - FACT! - "Who's IN"?!? LOL 🙂

Poor Morty did nothing wrong. tried to be helpful but gave advice to dumbasses.
Why do you think the aliens brought him back to the planet to ask "if he felt less guilty" once permission to be eaten was provided? Morty should have kept his mouth shut when he went to pay his respects. People would NOT HAVE KNOWN! The one thing you were right about: a dumbass encouraging more dumbasses to do crazier stuff.
Morty never learned throughout all the seven seasons of the show !
How do you dye a sun?
It took me DAYS and Several Viewings to "Fully Digest" (no pun intended) this episode! - But ultimately?!? - I REALLY Like IT!! - "Rick and Morty! - A Hundred YEARS!!" 🙂
Honestly, it was morty who revealed to the people that they can be spaghetti, but it was the president who decided to sell out and ruin everyone’s lives.
“It’s like their whole planet was bought by Discovery”
God I hate how accurate that is
When I was a kid Discovery had actual interesting documentary and educational content with a sprinkling of reality-lite shows (eg Deadliest Catch)
That seems to have flipped to reality shows with a sprinkling of education-lite fare
