- The peak of luminmechs army, the God of Death, Execour. There's a golden version called "Gildina Execour" after step 10, but you can also encounter Varuna or Shiva, or both if you go final step (step 30). Good luck beating them at lvl 100 :p Enjoy the music!! Amongst the best tbh ^^
It was harder than i though to link properly what i've put as 2nd part to the 1st, kinda ironic when it's supposed to be its follow up lol. The 3rd and final part only happens when Execour goes into "Offense mode" which you trigger by breaking his back crystal.
PS : Now i'm pretty much done with EP6 musics until the 2 last story chapters and final raid boss, so with updates being postponed atm, there's not gonna be new post until June i guess lol

I discovered this recently...the song gives me shivers all along. This track is totally insane and is very emotional. The singer's voice is truly bedazzling and out of this world.

Ye and yes, Shiva bass shredder/vocals, Varuna Guitar, Mitra drums which in reality is the throne's true purpose and she shifts into Shiva to reach higher toms/pads then back again. The most disturbing looking luminmechs are chorus and strings. And I WOULD pay to watch this animated.

@@desubysnusnu Not even close in my opinion Execour is such an easy fight compared to any of the Trio. I play phantom maybe thats why. Also burn guarantees an S rank.

Best thing about riveralete gunblade is that when you affix it with s4 escalate pursuit and s5 skillful adapt will and equipped with critical strike ring, you're basically unkillable since you can heal yourself while dealing good amounts of critical damage constantly. So a good weapon to have before ayer series and cras series upgrade is release in the future.

@@kalonem5719 wait until cras series upgrade come out, that's the best weapon series which you can add s1, s2, s3, s4, s5 augments to not only keep the healing and critical damage, but also further improve it by adding s augment that increase either critical chance or damage even more

This is the best music to do mech style power sliding with a rifle going full auto (I run a CAST ranger and I can hold Slideburst Zero for a very long time), attacking and dodging simultaneously.

he seems to be designed for people nearly maxed out or at least 95/95. otherwise theres no way you'll damage him enough solo to kill it.

@@villahermosasebastian8794 It's not enough at least before level 90 or so. Especially for katana braver becuase if you're close enough to hit it, you also cant see anything.

Where did you find the high pitched version of the second part of this track that starts playing at 7:43? I’ve never heard it ingame and I’ve checked the game files for it but the file with this track doesn’t have it
That's a "post-processing" i did to that particular part, so it's in the same key than the following part (from 8:30 to end), that way i could make the transition smoother

@@Seyku there are others parts on other musics where i did that if you check others musics, but let's say if you can't find some "different pitch" part in game files there's a good chance i did a similar processing. Sometimes to add intensity, other time to make a repeating loop more interesting, or just to have an ending to the music (mostly Free Field musics). There is like cutscenes music i pretty much never change. Anyway, it's not something i do frequently either, it's mostly used as transitioning or ending purpose, or when it would be too complicated to link parts without otherwise. When it works, lol, there have been cases that it simply didn't despite the "key matching" idea :p
Cyber Meteor in this specific track it’s easy to see why it works because there’s an example of how they pitched the vocals themselves, but it can not fit since you’ll be doing post on the whole O channel that has other instruments mixed in, and even if you only apply it to the frequencies of the voice it will also affect other stuff. It’s an elegant solution nonetheless, kind of a shame they didn’t bother making an alternative version of the second phase too. Phase 1 alone lasts longer than these fights can even go for since they are on a 3 minute timer, anyway, could have gone the extra mile like they sometimes do D:

Never played the game but love the music, so over-the-top and Japanese with the killer jazz-fusion chords and key changes. Were these tracks ever released on an OST CD/digital download album?
Not digital download yet sadly, it only available in Episode 6 album of the game
,the first part of theme is named "Vacuity" while the finisher part is "As One" the latter is serve as EP6 opening
@@mickbotcast Thanks, it appears those two tracks are on the "Phantasy Star Vocal Collection", it's a bit expensive here in the UK but it is a 4-disc set. Definitely going to pick it up in the future. Cheers!
@@mickbotcast Managed to get the "Phantasy Star Vocal Collection". Some amazing tracks, filled with some not so great "Vocoloid" tracks (synthesised vocal software by Yamaha, I've used it myself for demoing song ideas). Vacuity, As One, Borderless, Realization, Neon Days; amongst others, all brilliant tracks.
Although the version are very different/truncated compared to the ones uploaded here/ripped from the game. Even for instance the version of "As One" doesn't have the same drums or guitar at all. Actually it's an entirely different arrangement haha... I need to grab this too as a guitarist myself and lover of crazy drumming (even if it's programming as in this case).

In the last phase of the boss music, there's a variation that's not on anything I can find other than in one video of someone fighting shiva. Could you somehow find out how to trigger it and maybe post that variation on here?

@@chrono015YT i see, seems like i missed a part, i wasn't even aware of its existence, moreover someone here below mentionned one part in my version that wasn't in game files yet didn't mentionned i missed that other part, so i was even more convinced to have all the parts lol. But if i had to guess the way to "trigger" it would be either just getting to the duo or when you 1v1 Varuna or shiva at step 25, because i've never got it on execour, unless it appears randomly but rarely

Has it been confirmed that true PD is the final raid boss? Doesn't that imply that Episode 6 is PSO2's final episode/season?
PSO2 anime kinda forshadowed True PD's form, and then there's the teaser from PSO2 Station where they showed some edlritch eye, with the close up silhoutte in the anime is almost similar with one in teaser.
