- In this video, I explore a very tight, wet, and muddy cave with a lot of cold spring water flowing through it. I had to crawl through the water, and it was very unpleasant.
As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.

Geez…i thought the last cave adventure was claustrophobic..This one here is much worse and you’re alone with no one else around.Please use the buddy system if you able to find another as crazy as you 😂

Last time l crawled into a cave like this l was on my belly and came nose to nose with the biggest Copperhead of my life. How l didn't get bit in the face is nothing short of a miracle.

I will be sticking to your above ground expeditions Chig . Long time subscriber here. I did enjoy the cave discovery of some years past with the many beautiful stalagmites and stalactites but the rock and hard place issues here.! Oh my pounding heart!❤ Thanks for your educational program and history knowledge .

It’s a very good thing that you aren’t older and served in the army back in the late 60’s to early 70’s as I think you would have been volunteered;) to be a tunnel rat hunter!!!
Remember to watch out for booby traps? You never know who or what is lurking in those caves!

That gave me claustrophobia!! I would have been overwhelmed by having to squeeze back through the way I'd come!! About a hundred pounds ago, I'd have thought about venturing in there!!!...lol

I enjoy seeing you back in the caves again! I have always liked your spelunking adventures.
At the 7:15 mark you summed up my current caving status! I just got too old to do it anymore, and am a bit more "round" than in my younger days, so I cannot quite fit in some of the passages that I "pushed" back in the day.
I sure do miss it though!
This cave reminded me of several that we had explored, and the only way we could get through some passages were to remove our helmets and keep our noses against the ceiling and move slow enough so as to not create waves that would wash over our face. And YES, that water is COLD!!!!
Obviously, we had checked ALL WEATHER FORECASTS, near and far, to be sure there was not a threat of rain. It is amazing how it can rain a long way away, and yet the watershed would drain into a cave MILES AWAY.
My only concern for you is that it appears you are by yourself. With that said, I also know that you always leave word with your wife and, or, friends, so that they know where you are.

Beautiful cave! I had to crawl through water once in a cave. We had to lay on our backs and the ceiling was only a couple of inches above us.
Now that takes some balls of steel to put yourself in that position 😆 or just crazy one of the two, maybe a bit of both… Stay safe chig, well at least as safe as you can!

Reminded me of the cave where my cloths froze before I got back to the truck. It was a struggle to get out of them. The coldest I have ever been. I have to say I do ( did ) enjoy exploring the holes in the ground.
A friend and I explored a cave that reminded me of this about a year ago. Thankfully we were certain of how to get back out, thinking about taking the metal detector back in there next time because we did find some old bottles. Deep in the heart of Tennessee.
I would say I enjoyed watching your video, but my eyes were closed most of the time. Dude!

I imagine you make sure it's not going to rain before you do something like this. I'm guessing those underground streams can rise very quickly...🤔 I started getting hypothermia in The Sinks of Gandy, after getting wet. Couldn't wait to get out and build a campfire 🔥 to warm up.

It's good to see another cave video. It seems to be a couple of years since the last one.

I'm 69, almost 70, and the look on your face after you'd crawled out of that potential tomb I've had a similar look on my face after crawling out of what was left of my car and I turned round and didn't even recognise it, then the realisation that I should be dead, but somehow wasn't, that's what I saw in your eyes, did you think you might have taken just one risk too many?
