NR2003 Track Release: Daytona Beach and Road Course 2023 Edition

NASCAR Racing 2003 Season is a game worthy of a two part 20th anniversary special. Today, I finally release the modernized version of the Daytona Beach and Road Course. The full credits list is in the video and on the website but a lot of people were involved in making it a reality. The biggest inspiration I had for this project was the EA Sports NASCAR Thunder games. This is the one track that I know of that can produce superspeedway, road course, and dirt track style racing all at once. Enjoy reliving NASCAR's original crown jewel, the Daytona Beach and Road Course. Also, I'll be back to doing more comedic gameplay style videos after this one. There's a certain Nintendo Wii game that I want to dedicate a video to.

Hey, just wanted to mention that in the 2010 version of the Daytona Beach track I worked with Wrangler, SteveB and company to enhance the surface graphics such as the sand and asphalt blend, some of it is also used in this version. (Cory Evans aka EvansRacing)

Amazing that this twenty-year-old game is still arguably the best NASCAR game to play due to mods. iRacing maybe better all-around but you have to pay for that! Nr2003 is free the community is phenomenal.

ai inverse slipcurve is in the track.ini, and crashing recovery slip angle is right at the top of the papy_ai file.
