I can't tell you how many times I've seen this series and I don't know how many times more I will watch it. This was my introduction to both, Thai BL and BL in general, couldn't have been sweeter. I'll be forever in love with Phun and No.

I just had to pause the show on the part where noh and yuri break's up and say that i really admire the personality of both noh and yuri.
They are really fun, nice people who cares for other people's feelings.

OMG, I love it. Especially the way Phun acts toward Noh. Good move Phun. Notice how Noh gives in to Phun when he is unhappy. They both want to make each other happy but especially Noh, he appears to be all about making Phun happy and thats true love.

It’s still a sad scenario weather she pushed it or not. She shot her shot and tried to make it work even knowing he didn’t like her. Yuri was innocently and genuinely trying her hardest and for that she’ll always be my fave girl in this series. And after all that to still accept Noh and still be his friend😭😭😭😭😭

I am sorry, but I can’t stand Yuri. How is she mad or hurt because Noh is with Phun? She literally made people believe that Noh and her were in a relationship, and he just went along with this facade. Also, Noh only called her once, so that means she did all the calling. Yuri has to be a little mental if she did not pick up on that. Hell, he even wanted her to break it off with him because there was no need for him to break up with her when he never agreed to the relationship. Sorry, I don’t feel no sympathy for her at all, and she is clingy as hell.

At first i genuinely felt bad for yuri but when she started acting all angry in front of noh attitude i got so annoyed. She's acting like noh cheated on her wjen they were never in an official relationship in the first place. She forced herself onto him and spread rumours of him being her boyfriend while noh couldn't say no bcoz she'd immediately start crying or something. She in a previous episode even told noh that she was sorry that she forced herself onto him and that she will help him if he finds someone he loves and now what happened. He finally found someone he genuinely loves while instead of supporting him like she said she would she's throwing a tantrum and acting like a victim. How can she not know that noh never loved her and only thought of her as a friend.
Brings me to tears every time I see Noh break up with Yuri, I want to reach out to Noh and give him a big hug and comfort him. So sad.
I certainly felt bad for Noh but not Yuri she’s the one who pushed fake dating on them to begin with..the break up scene was ridiculous in my eyes they weren’t an actual couple to begin with so why the need for it and why did it have to be such a long scene it was longer than Phun and Aims break up scene and they were an actual couple

I have laughed so much about that, then there was the scene where On in was singing for Non at the show, the ghostwriting was broken and hanging above the outline and the video man kept going up and down Phun's profile to try and hide it. Then there is Noh's hair somewhere it didn't make sense. He had long hair we saw him in class with short hair then the next day it was long.

Typically when shooting scenes for movies or shows, they are not shot based on order but by convenience of the scene, whether it's due to some outside influence or complexity, or they get reshot if something doesn't fit or work with the storyline :)

Its like a status symbol - separates the really affluent (rich!) kids from the rest of the common folks. It costs a lot to put your kid in braces, plus - it's something which must/will continue for years before the teeth are stable; then you may still need to wear retainers for several more years. Not something you would see being planned for a kid coming from a salary or working for wages kind of family.
The school these "Blue Shorts guys" attend, is supposed to be one of the most exclusive all-boys schools in Thailand, so you would expect them to have things like big dial face watches, Smart phones, cars, motor cycles, take music classes...have all the privileges that come from being the sons of important, rich families. (like living in apartments off campus, taking vacations during school breaks - having free time, without having to account for what they may be doing). Phun is/was a playboy, spent "mad" money on Aim.
You didn't notice that Noh, Phu, Earn, August and the rest of the main characters live in big houses, have servants, spending money, cameras, computers? Even Aim - her mother was going to punish her, by sending her overseas (Europe, USA?) until the scandal blew over - for those sex videos she was seen in?

I am not disagreeing with any the fact that getting braces, if you can afford it, can be a good investment towards the future success of children when they go looking for a good job or more important...for good dental health. Just as sending you kids to the best school is expensive (and a status symbol) so are braces, health care, music lessons, "Cram Schools" and free time after school - instead of needing to work outside the family for spending money... none of these characters do anything - except school. Some even live in condos, on their own, with no parent supervision.
However, remember this is TV series, not real life. Lots of actors need braces, but they usually don't wear them when filming... unless its also part of the character. All these kids in the this Thai drama are supposed to be students at one of "Best" all boys school in the country; all have cell phones, watches, good teachers, none of them seem to have manual labor jobs, they have their own rooms, maids ... they come from rich families. The quick way to establish this is showing they have best medical care too.
Not every one can afford good medical and dental care. This is one reason these dramas are so popular.

I find it interesting how the women in this show are villanized for;
like aim having multiple lovers while being in a relationship, like Yuri hanging onto a guy who doesn't show any sexual interest in you and treats you at best like a puppy he plays with when he is bored or like Jeed who wants to have her cake and eat it. while all the guys are doing the same thing. Phun had a whole ass girlfriend but was sleeping and confessing his feelings to another person, Noh is string Yuri along, earn is acting entitled to someones attention when that person never said that they liked them but why are the women the bad ones for doing those things?
another thing i'd like to say is honestly Yuri is the most innocent character in this show and she doesn't deserve to be treated the way she is but Noh. I know that the writers doen't think that NOh is a bad person but if you know i want to be your girlfriend, you treat me as such, you know i have invested my emotion in you and your well being but you are with another person, intertaining romantic thoughts about them but not having the balls to break up with me because "you want to take are of me?" then guess what nigga you are a fuckboy and i hope bad things happen to you and you only.
I feel so much sympathy for her because she's so clueless to everything that is happening around her.
Another thing that is disturbing about BL dramas; i've seen this also in SOTUS is that why do they insist that they aren't gay? i wish that the writers would delve much deeper into this. I would like a character to actually challenge this thinking and have it in dialog. Noh clearly is romantically interested in Phun but says that there's nothing going on between them and that they are faking it and i'm like, nigga?????

If you read the novel this series based on then you will find many of the answers to some of your concerns. That said, please keep in mind that these are high school aged people we are talking about and they are exploring life and trying to figure themselves out as they experience new things and grow up (hormones raging) at the same time. Life for adults is messy enough, but at this age the issues of love are even more chaotic and uncertain. As for Noh and Yuri, I understand your position on Yuri. She is a really innocent character, but not so naïve. She happens to fall for a guy whose life is about to take a turn he has not really ever envisioned and what that means to him and everyone around him and has to fumble for the answers as he digests it all. Her character is put in a very tragic situation in that regard. Noh ends up disappointing her, but she was initially the more aggressive pursuer, and Noh ends up being a bit of a coward in telling her the score, but that's also because he really does like her as a person while also being hesitant to admit and accept his love for another guy and the consequences that will ensue. On the other hand, your point about why BL dramas have a hard time just letting characters admit to being gay is well stated. I agree. But as a gay person I know that the road to accepting your gayness is made in small steps over time for many of us. It may start out as, well, I just love this person who happens to be the same sex as me, but later becomes, shit, I really am attracted to my own sex more than I used to admit to myself. Your comment is very honest and states solid issues. Thank you for your post.
Aladdin Sane I understand you, my point is just i don't like writers who leave things to assumption. Let things happen in dialogue. This could’ve otherwise been a very complex show, with strong dialogue and characters that a lot of young gay kids who are also trying to figure out their sexuality could’ve related to. Why even write a show like this if you are going to ignore like 90% of everything that is happening in these boys' life??
Anyway, I pray I will get to see a well written BL series that doesn’t treat its audience like we are incapable of understanding and relating to a much meatier storyline.
I say this to say I realize that these shows are just fan service and as an adult, I am not the demographic they are aiming for.
How can the actions of Phun + Noh be a surprise to you or anyone who follows the story line? The whole point of a BL story/series is centered around characters who are gay or had gay tendencies... a Straight guy (even in Thai dramas) is straight. If you are straight, how can you avoid noticing that the person you are pursuing is male? Once you kiss a guy - its a pretty chance that you are at least more than a little gay!
Even the "Angel gang" understood that Noh was a "special" case... kind of in the middle... not totally straight - but not fem/gay either.
From the beginning, Noh never tried to hide the fact that he was never romantically attracted to Yuri... She was the one who decided that Noh was going to be her boyfriend. If anything - his problem has always been that he never learned how to stop people (boy or girl) from trying to get "close" to him. He always treated everyone like a good Friend. Phun was the only one who came straight out and asked Noh to be his boyfriend. Yes... he used a trick to get passed Noh's defenses - but the fact remains, he actually asked and acted like a boyfriend.
Earn could have been with Noh - but he never really declared he was in Love. Matter of fact - he treated Pete/August like crap... almost lost him in his blind, sneaky pursuit of Noh. It was a case of too little - too late.
I'm not sure that you are making the point that you initially wanted to make. This was a very long read that wasn't really answering or addressing anything I spoke of in my previous comment, but it's my fault, I wrote a very long ranty comment.
Anyway, my critique about the show is that both of the boys are, clearly to me, bisexuals. neither of them ever admits to actually being attracted to men. Noh slings and entertains both Yuri and Phun not wanting to acknowledge one but also not wanting to deny the other. Phun also does this in his relationship with Em. My assessment was that Noh and Phun are written to look like good people but their emotions stem from a very selfish place and none of them throughout this very long series ever admit it. Only the women are painted as cheating, annoying people.
It's possible to enjoy and like a show and also be critical about what you are watching. I love watching BL series but this is a recurring theme. Men do things, women get blamed and no one addresses their sexuality. It's just very uninspiring.
PS; i don't know what "gay tendencies" are if you are trying to make the point that someone is not really gay or in your words "a special case"

All the pretending in world could not be overlooked at this point about Phun and Noh's "friendship". However, Yuri decided to ignore that and all the other signs and that was her choice.. Phun and Noh was center stage sharing smiles and glances while Yuri was vaguely putting two and two together right there in the audience. Yuri wasn't a bad person but she was at fault also in this "relationship. That doesn't mean the way she found out about the relationship was cool.
Maybe she lonely and didn't want to be left out peer pressure is a beast. If you don't know who you are to some degree mistakes will be made.. Yuri said herself talking about what her friends are doing with their boyfriends and being jealous because she had yet to experience those things. I love Phun and Noh together but the way they acted at the concert was disrespectful.
