Suspected DUI Motorcycle Accident

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-15-24 2:46 am
LOCATION: Clairemont Mesa Blvd & SR-163
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
The male motorcyclist was entering the northbound SR-163 from the Clairemont Mesa Blvd on-ramp.
He took the curve on the transition ramp too fast and lost control, hitting the K-rail and separating the on-ramp lane from the freeway.
He was ejected up and over the wall onto the freeway.
The motorcycle went into a fence on the right shoulder.
The male was transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
A check of him being DUI will happen at the hospital, as he is suspected of being DUI.

That on ramp is pretty benign. He must have been really hauling a$$. And since it was after 2 am, I have a feeling the guy might have been doing a little indulging at a local watering hole.
