This is the first Cayanne GTS tutorial, that explains what it's a bypass,,,,, i was about to spend $2k in a new EXHAUST SYSTEM, thanks 🙏
No problem! My car is a turbo. You will get more noticeable results on a naturally aspirated model.
Sounds really good. Not over kill. Just right amount for daily enjoyment
I’d say that’s an improvement and it won’t upset the neighbors.
Sounds really great from the outside and just right on the inside. Nice mod, well done!
Thanks!
Just burned through 50$ just by revving to 4k rpm.
My Cayenne can relate
I really appreciate your videos. They have helped me with the decision of wanting a 957 GTS or Turbo S. I just can't make up my mind as to which one.
Drive them both and see which one you like. I like the GTS appearance, seats and sports exhaust but the power in the Turbo, bigger brakes and standard full leather interior are nice. The best of both worlds would be a Turbo S, but maintenance will be more expensive (brakes, PDCC system).
Best tutorial. Now i don't need to bypass through the muffler insertion like what other ppl did.
I'm in the progress of the flex pipe bypass on my 955 TTS. Done one side, and the improvement is much more significant than this Gundo. Sounds like the 957 stock exhaust is louder to begin with, as compared to my stock 955
I would have done the flex pipe mod but it unfortunately doesn't work on the 957 because the muffler internals are different.
Greetings,
What size of pipes did you use? I am thinking of installing electric servos (BMW style) which could be opened/closed indefinitely via switch.
I had the same done to my 2006 turbo and also removed my secondary cat's. It has a little deeper sound
nice
Nice work!! may look at that on a 2011 Turbo
That's pretty good. Straight pipes are way too loud.
You cannot hear it inside the car. The car has too much sound deadening
Nice! Time to do that to mine :)
sounds great, thanks for your awesome videos.
may I know what kind of workshop would do such job? should I take it to exhaust specialist (but I doubt that they will do it for $100 😀)
Any muffler shop that has good reviews on yelp will be able to do this. Even in Socal, it's still 'legal' to a muffler shop as you're not modifying the cats or muffler itself. It is however, illegal to modify an exhaust in such a manner to alter the decibel level (socal) but, it's extremely unlikely that will ever become an issue.
I'm in Vegas where we have emissions requirements. Will it still pass an emissions test or will the 'freer' flowing exhaust trigger a leak warning?
What diameter pipes lol
You should do the cat bypass pipes too!
Sounds awesome! Especially for $100!
Great work. Did this trigger engine light at all?
Nope
sounds great
whats the location you got it done?
Just a local muffler shop in Phoenix. I just told them what i wanted and they did it for $100.
@@CarFanatic gotcha; you know if it pass smog check (california) if you do gundo?
@@luckyfarru Yes this will pass smog (ODBII) and visual (inspection for cats).
Sorry for double posting
Greetings,

I believe they had 2.5 inch pipes. What kind of car do you have?
@@CarFanatic same as yours - CTT 08
@@CarFanatic additional pipes look a bit smaller than stock - I think stock are 2.5 Could you please check.
Regards
I think the stock pipes are 2.75 inches
@@CarFanatic Do you have a caliper? Could you please check. I have found 56OD, 52ID OEM servo valves from VAG TDI CXXA engine. Might be the perfect addition to your hack on a touch of a button.
man that's going to melt those wheels with a quickness
What do you mean?
Sounds nice. I have a 958.2 GTS (V6 turbo). Two questions:
1. Would this pass CA smog?
2. Will it play nice with the oem exhaust on/off flaps?
If you don't touch O2 sensors or cats you're fine. This is a muffler not cat bypass.
I did same cost me $450
Nice!
Why?? Is it status to be loud in the US?
Yours sound dum bro get it straight piped the right way
Lol, nah I'm good.
