Ronnie Dio's twin brother needed his vocals turned-up in the mix (killer vocals), and Dwight from The Office needed more 'verb on his drum kit. All joking aside... killer performance by killer musicians. Have always loved this tune.
I would imagine the room is too small to get the amount of midrange needed for a good mix on top of acoustic drums .There is only so much midrange in the sound spectrum
Many greats of rock and jazz have played in that particular bar in the past, including Fish (Marillion) and even Steve Hacket and Ray Wilson from Genesis. Maggie Reilly, Spencer Davis Group, Carl Palmer, Chester Thompson, It's the most unlikely place in the middle of nowhere at the corner of a side street in a small east german town (Reichenbach), but the bar owner is connected with musicians and music scene all over the world. It's a cult place. Walls are banged with photos and newspaper cuts with dozens of famous musicians that have played there in the past three decades. Well worth a visit. They even make a festival (Artrock Festival) periodically. Go and see it.
The bass player/ singer of Uli's band, who, is actually a killer Uli disciple on guitar can, better than Klaus. Klaus is a great singer, but has too much of a German accent that he didn't lose until afterwards. Uli's singer has killer pipes. Scorpions revisited is miles better than Ulrich roth era scorps. In Fantasyland, people want an original scorps reunion. Not me. It work for a one off.
It’s amazing to hear Uli adapt to a flat amp that has no power tube drive and a modeled sounding preamp (as opposed to pushed preamp). It really takes so much away from the guitar. It’s not a tube sound, it’s a fluorescent tube sound. Really shocking actually. Yet, he amazingly changes changes the song and adapts to the flat amp.
Great leads in short doses are awesome. But when you keep on going and going and going- dragging it out forever, it loses its magic and gets real old real fast. SHORT doses is the KEY. Great vocals, by the way.
@@ffmdotcom yes exactly - he acts it up... plays it effortlessly and casually his eyes wonder the ceiling 1:00 like it's no problem - it is definitely his trademark
Bass player is feeling it. Awesome song
I saw him live in the whiskey a go go in 2019, he kept looking at me and I was shy so I looked at his guitar playing :D a true legend
You are mistaken. He was looking at me, not at you.
@@rsnc23 saitama meme "ok"
Maybe he wanted sex with you?
Dang, just as amazing as ever
Great vocals to compliment Uli's masterpiece (IMO... though I'm sure he's a bit tired of it by now... though none of us seems to be ;).
Fantastic music mix🎸
One of the best versions of this classic
Wow, was für ein grandioses Video! Vielen, vielen Dank für das teilen 👍👍👍👍
such a happy riff for such a heavy song, just fantastic.....
The craziest concert cabin ever

On point and very frickin funny.

Love the old classic Scorpions 🦂, as well as the new.
How the fuck is he playing in a fuckin bar
He wants his 50 bucks for gas in his station wagon.😂😂😂...maybe he wants new shaggy carpet on his dashboard😂😂😂...his walker broke and it needs wheels.

Uli Jon is my new guitar idol next to Ritchie Blackmore 🙌🏼🎸
Uli true to his hippie style!
The vocal of Klaus Meine is the best one. No one who's tried can sing like he does it😊
Looks like an early Klaus too

mann ulli....nicht schlecht....du kannst besser...
Uli looks bored lol but apart from a couple of alterations he plays as good as ever!
Isn't that kind of a trademark? He just plays as if it's nothing...

The drummer looks like a fat dwight schrute
