Instead of going straight to architecture school, I am spending the next two years working on a construction site, studying architecture online. I have already talked to one school (AA) who is willing to take me on for third year studies (out of five) if I can prove my autodidactic architectural education. They seem happy that I'm choosing to take this route.
In the UK we have to do at least 1 year of full time work in an office between Bachelors and Masters and then at least 1 more year work in an office between Masters and Final Exams. So you get plenty of time to learn how the real world works.
It's recommended, you don't have to. I know quite a few of 3rd years last year go straight for masters after graduation cause of the disruption of getting experience due to pandemic
I still can’t understand how the architectural construction class of the School of Architecture is taught without the students knowing the production process?
+Subham Sarkar It's by the American Institute of Architects. It's like an encyclopedia, a lot of professionals contribute to the publication. I think the authors are officially credited as Charles George Ramsey and Harold Sleeper, but neither of them are living anymore. Some places call it the Ramsey/Sleeper series even though they passed away in the '60s. If you goggle it, it's the series that comes up.

I think that is awesome!!!
I studied architecture. Those who took that route were decidedly ahead of the game. Good choice in my opinion.

All the architectural theories are not practical, and we should learn the truth from reality.I support you!
